Wouldn’t be surprised if Corey Craves interferes in the Pat McAfee match tomorrow.

Whether it ends up as a load of shite or not, as a spectacle, you can’t beat Mania.

Lost track of how many times they’ve said “stupendous” these past two hours. Classic WWE, find a phrase and then hammer you to death with it.

This Happy Corbin storyline is so ridiculous and late 80’s WWF I love it.

Is Pat McAfee always this irritating though?

Also Michael Cole calling the ‘Andre’ trophy prestigious when it’s been kicked off the main show (even with two nights) and has never kick started a career…

McAfee seems to get more, erm, excitable every time I tune in…

This position and match on the card sure feels like a comedown for Drew compared to the last couple of years.

Was Boogs legitimately hurt? I was too busy unwrapping a Snickers. :shifty:

How the strawberry float do the same faces always keep getting into the front rows of all WWE and AEW events. Someone at Ticketmaster is on the take…

Once the first hour was out of the way, WrestleMania exceeded expectations. Far better than the opening night of last year.

Steve Austin and KO actually had a proper match!

I'm happy to say I actually called this match happening as a no holds barred one months ago. Something just felt right that we would finally see one last match. Great that WWE didn't announce it and went with the surprise. They could have made a much bigger deal of it over the past few weeks. Well done WWE.

Jessie James Decker just in a completely different league singing America the Beautiful compared to the bloke they had last night.

For me nobody will top Ray Charles from WrestleMania 2 though.

Annnd here comes Triple H to kick off Night 2. 20 minutes into the show just to get the first match underway. Would be kinda funny if Sheamus and company ended up getting their match cut again. :slol:

I thought night 1 was better than night 2 but over all a really good Mania this year.

The Mcmahon match was obviously terrible but I really enjoyed it. The botched stunner actually made the moment a bit more special, I wonder if Austin caught Vince in the balls again!

The ending of Brock/Reigns was a bit weird, not sure if they were running out of time or something, just a weird way to end that match.

Edit: Saw a replay of the stunner and Austin definitely got Vince in the belly so I've no idea why the lock completely flattened him!

Overall it was a really good two day event. I enjoyed all of it.

I think they rushed the Brock and Reigns ended because of Roman's shoulder. It definitely looked like he dislocated it.

Such a shame they screwed up Vince's last ever stunner.

For once none of the celebrity guests disappointed. McAfee was great in the ring.

Cody Rhodes got me back into wrestling, and he has single-handedly got me back into watching WWE.

This right here, is an all-timer promo:

Yeah saw it earlier and registered for the presale. Not the best location for me but I'll still go. I wonder how big of a deal they will make for it. Whether they'll do an axxess or anything.

Also I bet it's headlined by Roman v Drew in a meaningless match where Roman obviously keeps the title :dread:

Picked up Bret Hart's autobiography the other day, I have found it a really interesting read so far.

One of the best books if not sometimes get depressing for wrestling out there. The sheer detail he has is fantastic and gives such a unique look into the early 90’s particularly. There’s sure some hyperbole here and there like everyone’s but he does get brutally honest at points.

Yeah, its great stuff, and as you say, the level of detail is incredible.

I have just finished the first part of it (end of the Stampede era). So from this point on it will be tales from the era I am far more familiar with. Its great to hear about some of these larger than life characters before their WWF/WCW days.

I wonder if the event in Wales will be branded as another Super ShowDown event, from their current stable of PPVs (Extreme Rules and TLC are both absent at the moment), or something completely new.

Drew McIntyre has been pushing for a match with Tyson Fury, which doesn't appeal to me in the slightest, but if you're going to do it, doing it on a UK show makes sense.

Yeah I imagine fury will be involved. I agree though that wouldn't interest me either.

I'm hoping there's at least some kind of surprise though. Had HHH not have had his health scare I think he would have wrestled in a tag match or something.

I hope Lesnar is at least back by then.

It’s a shame it’s so close to SummerSlam as I’m sure if anything big is going to happen that time of year it’ll happen there, but I’ll definitely pop over from Ireland if I manage to get good enough tickets for it.
