So after four months of teasing, it was a toy spider in Rowan's cage. :fp:

Kind of booked themselves into a corner there, huh.

Considering a number of people these past few months were scared shitless of it too, it’s even worse. The way they were acting it was a severed head or something.

Feels like they have dropped the ball massively with Rowan yet again now that it was a toy spider in his cage i guess now hes just a dude who likes to wrestle in metal band shirts or something.

In storyline, is the spider supposed to be real? It's a scary and big looking toy for sure, but it's really embarrassing if they're trying to flog it off as real. From what I saw of the highlights I couldn't tell if the commentators were legitimately going along with the charade.

It sounded like they were, one of them said "it looks like it's alive", when it clearly didn't.

Adam Page is really beginning to get some amazing reactions from the crowds.

Hope they also deliver on Jake Roberts surprise client.

AEW might want to go easy on the factions, Death Triangle seems one too many. Unless they’re planning a Trio’s championship or something?

Apparently they do want to introduce trios titles but not till later in the year.

I'm assuming they're trying to establish them now ready for those titles.

Not sure it was necessary though, off the top of my head you already have Jurassic Express, Best Friends + Orange Cassidy, The Bucks + Kenny, Dark Order, The Inner Circle (Guervara + Proud and Powerful), Some combination of Cody, Dustin + QT maybe? :slol:

I feel like The Lucha Bros should be babyfaces for a start. They always get a great reaction and their style of wrestling is anything but that of a heel.

Also feel like Pac should be in the heavyweight title picture and not mixed up in a trio.

Why is it on so early? I mean it’s a better time for us but seems odd after so many years. I never understood why they didn’t go for an earlier start time years ago when they relied on ppv buys as it’s Sunday, if American fans want to watch it they will watch it in the afternoon or evening regardless but Europeans would have been more likely to buy it if shown at an earlier time.
