Bloody terrible news. To see the miracle of how he turned his life around, and his story ends like this is incredibly sad. I guess for all of us the consolation is that we got to see him redeem himself, and that awesome final promo at the hall of fame.

No sign of Cody last night. His rumoured match at Mania is with Seth Rollins, and Rollins is very much in a holding pattern. Maybe they held off with Cody as they felt it would be a bit flat after the news about Scott Hall.

Another star that defined and changed wrestling throughout the 90s no longer with us. Part of so many memorable moments that will live on forever.

Says something that over 25 years after the nWo was formed, they're still worthy of being on one of the covers of WWE 2K22.

Crazy chain reaction from falling at home and breaking his hip and blood clots that formed as part of that causing his heart attacks. So sad.

I always assumed because of the company he kept that he was selfish at work in the same vain as a Shawn Michaels but I’m reading so many stories of how he’d put younger stars over all the time and how he basically gifted Sting the crow gimmick wrapped up in a bow.

As has been said already at least it was in happier times surrounded by family and not when he was withdrawn from society and on a first name basis with his food delivery guy.

Every hotel in Cardiff seems to be booked out just on the back of rumors about it :?

Judge Steve Harvey, as if that wasn’t ludicrous enough, resides over the case of JJ Dillon vs The Taskmaster Kevin Sullivan…

The Mark Madden/Ric Flair podcast has ended already. The two of them have had a falling out...

Twitter wrote:Mark Madden: I am leaving the @FlairUncensored podcast effective immediately. It’s not a good fit for me, especially scheduling the prep & taping during my jam-packed work week. Thx to @RicFlairNatrBoy & @PodHeat for the opportunity & for understanding.

Ric Flair: Love & Appreciate You @MarkMaddenX, But Actually, I Relieved You Of Your Duties! Best Of Luck With Your Work! I’ll Be Back & Better Than Ever Next Monday! Going Home To My Son In Law @HeyHeyItsConrad!

Madden: Ok. That’s true. And now, soon, I can tell the whole real story. Like how we lost the deal with Podcast One. Love& appreciate you, too, but hey…as long as we’re telling the truth. Truth is always good, right? Watch this space. And BTW, you didn’t have the balls to tell me you were firing me. You said the podcast was cancelled, period. Your son-in-law had to tell me the truth. Why couldn’t you just let it go? Why couldn’t you just be a friend after 35 years?

Flair: Mark, It’s So Sad. You’ve Been Telling Everyone For 30 Years That I’m The Greatest Wrestler Ever. Quit Trying To Get The Rub That Made You Who You Are! Look Forward To Hearing You On The @PatMcAfeeShow, Oh Wait, Sorry, He Cancelled You Too! Just Be Happy & Enjoy Life!

Madden: Have another drink. God gave you the gift of life a few years back, & you thank him by getting shit-faced every single night like you are right now. You are the greatest wrestler ever. What you’ve become is sad.

Flair: So Sad! I’m Sorry You Feel That Way!

Imagine if the Will Smith/Chris Rock thing was just the start of a year-long storyline that culminates at Wrestlemania next year.

Ah, so ITV is now in the ‘AEW is popular, quick we need more wrestling, let’s commission a wrestling sitcom’ phase.

I noticed during the football highlights on Saturday night that they’ve also started including AEW prominently in their ITV Sport commercials alongside international football, cycling, darts and horse racing.

Someone should pick up the rights to renew GLOW. That was absolutely bloody brilliant.

One of the most lackluster build ups to a Mania I've seen in years, I know the character work and dynamic is different but this is the 3rd time we've had Reigns/Lesnar at Wrestlemania.

I'll probably still catch some of it though eh

I know they did it for ticket sales but wouldn’t it have been so much better if they didn’t announce stone cold and just had Owens bad mouthing him for ages, using his moves. Although it would be obvious he was coming out it would still be better than what we’ve got so far.

I haven't watched wrestling for quite a while, but I was quite shocked to see the half-naked fellow with the breeches who won the "Andrew the Giant" Battle Royale last night.
