Meanwhile on SmackDown tonight...

The Miz and Shane McMahon defeated “The Vegas Boys” Chip & Chad. Worth watching to see Shane hit one of the worst looking DDTs of all time, followed up by one of the worst looking triangle submission holds of all time.

On Friday night December 14th 8pm ET, Major League Wrestling will make history with its first ever live broadcast special taking place in Miami, Fla. to air on beIN SPORTS.

Viewers can expect the unexpected as MLW brings its brand of hybrid wrestling to live TV on beIN SPORTS featuring Tony Schiavone calling all the live pro wrestling action for the first time since 2001 on cable network television.

The night will feature a double main event as the leader of Los Ingobernables, Rush fights Rich Swann. The second main event will feature a high-intensity World Middleweight Championship ladder match with current World Middleweight Champion, MJF vs. Kotto Brazil vs. Dezmond Xavier vs. Andrew Everett vs. Jason Cade.

Preceding the main-event will be the CMLL Lightweight Champion, Dragon Lee vs. DJZ.

Fans who tune-in for MLW FUSION LIVE! will also be treated to appearances throughout the star-studded special by World Heavyweight Champion Low Ki, “Filthy” Tom Lawlor, Salina de la Renta, the Hart Foundation, Tommy Dreamer and more.

Will apparently be available on YouTube from tomorrow. Prior episodes are up if you fancy catching up.

Yep I've been watching MLW for a while and it's a lot of fun. They've got a lot of good talent like Fenix, Pentagon, Tom Lawlor, Low-Ki, La Parka, Rush, Shane Strickland and it's always good to see Konnan in 2019.

The weekly show goes up on Youtube on Saturdays at around 11:05pm.

Everyone seems to think Vince's scheduled appearance for Raw next week is related to the general manager fallout from TLC, but I can't help wondering if there'll be some kind of mini draft. Lynch or Flair though... If Lynch loses the title I think we'll know. And there really isn't anyone else for Rousey to overcome on Raw, because they've sabotaged Banks and Bayley. I've actually enjoyed the build up to Asuka, Lynch & Flair at TLC. This week's episode of SD made it feel like Asuka isn't just there to get pinned. Probably just sleight of hand though.

Not a single RAW match interests me at TLC. Curious how one-sided the roster feels, yet they still pulled that whole SS nonsense (which seemingly had no fallout?).

Great to see Tyler Breeze on NXT this week, doing what he does best, and actually given time to showcase his talent.

Vince always pops up on Raw when the ratings go to absolute gooseberry fool.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm hoping to fit it in before TLC tomorrow night, depending on how long it is. I haven't caught up with the one from Friday morning either yet.

The previous two posts show how entertaining wrestling can be outside the WWE. As for Vince showing up on Raw, probably something to do with the XFL :dread: Although they usually do something big for Raw around Christmas/New Years each year, maybe a Lesnar match seeing as they mentioned he hadn’t had a match on Raw since ‘02?

TLC tonight just feels like filler; apart from maybe tomorrow night’s RAW with Vince McMahon, the next two programmes before 2019 are both taped.

Unless they have a good plan, having Seth Rollins going out there and telling everyone ‘yes, this show really does suck, the ratings are the worst in history, the champ’s never here, and nothing makes any sense’ is a terrible idea. WCW did it all the time in late 1999/2000, and TNA did it so often I lost count, and all it seemed to do was shine a bigger light on all the flaws to the mass audience and speed up the decline. The ‘press reset’ button works for a couple of weeks, especially if it’s associated with a new look, but after the novelty wears off you’re still lumbered with the same core problems.

RAW doing badly directly impacts SmackDown the next night too, which has generally been better, but I guess RAW leaves a bad taste in everyone’s mouth and therefore they skip SD.

I think it's safe to say the Mixed Match Challenge reward of the final entrant in the Royal Rumble is going to make zero difference. Can't see R-Truth, Carmella, Jinder Mahal or Alicia Fox in the title picture for 'Mania. What a shambles that's been with injuries, and them randomly deciding to remove Styles.

I completely forgot the Royal Rumble winner gets a chance to pick which title to go for. So they really don't need to swap anyone around to get Rousey vs either Lynch or Charlotte, just remove the title from whichever one they're angling for that match. Asuka could actually win?!?

Literally only looking forward to SD's matches tonight, Lynch vs Asuka vs Charlotte, Styles vs Bryan and Orton vs Mysterio.

When the legends are salvaging the PPV in 2018...

Some inventive spots. They must be pulling some Tiger Mask gooseberry fool with Mysterio, his skill seems untouched by age.

Rousey continues to surprise me. Scaling Jax like a building at multiple times there.

Styles vs Bryan was great! Definitely my favourite of all their matches so far.

Managed to catch it live (the time difference to Japan makes watching show so much easier than American wrestling  )

It's up there with the best matches this year, definitely. Ibushi/Ospreay is going to be ridiculous.
