NXT really was a disappointment - for how much story has been fit in to the other two pre-recorded segments I had high hopes for this - but this blow off really wasn't good.
My ears couldn't help but prick up on RAW when during the Big Show vs. Drew McIntyre match, Saxton on commentary came out with 'We've never seen this, period. We've never seen a guy win a championship at WrestleMania and then not even a half hour after he wins it put it on the line again'...

I’m confused why did he even say that. Didn’t he only fight big show 24 hours after winning it, not half an hour
No it was after Wrestlemania went off the air he came out they’re saying, which I assume he did, they were still in front off the Wrestlemania backdrop if you watch it.

Ah right, I haven’t watched it. Just read about it (big show match)
I noticed during the extremely long Aleister Black vs Apollo Crews match on RAW that they’d actually filmed it with the slightly adjusted WrestleMania set. They tried to avoid filming the Mania sign on occasion but didn’t always succeed. More noticeable was the announce table completely vanishing beside the stage. Once the match ended, in the following segment the set was back to being the RAW one.
Also noticeable was the announcers sat at the desk but their mouths weren’t moving, so these poor guys had to probably do their commentary live from WWE HQ.
During night 2 of Mania they announced they’re going ahead with Money in the Bank on May 10, presumably also from the Performance Center. Guess they’re really worried without any PPV shows the Network numbers would dip even more.
Looks like BT Sport has had a word with WWE and NXT will now air 7 days after on the Network in the UK, rather than 24 hours (ish).
Not that I fancy currently watching more empty arena wrestling in a week, but it’s still an irritating downgrade. That WWE content sure coming in handy for BT Sport at the moment, otherwise like Sky Sports they’d have bugger all content.
lol, the fed are preaching at people about sticking to guidelines to prevent the spread of covid-19 just after confirming they are going back to recording all their shows live again

This has to be a contractual thing with the TV networks, because I can't think of one solitary reason to run all three shows Live every single week, and then also have Money in the Bank on top of that. On the most part these shows have been extremely boring, soulless, awkward affairs and being Live isn't going to change that. It would have taken longer because they have so. much. TV, but like AEW and I believe IMPACT WRESTLING (yes, they're still around) they could have taped a load of shows in about 4 or 5 days, and sent everyone home for another month.
WWE has already had a confirmed case of COVID-19, so imagine if someone gets it and then dies. Or if the whole roster contracts it.
It's speeding up their ratings decline as well, no doubt in part because more people want to watch the news, and also because these Performance Center shows aren't any fun to watch.
