Anyone else ever watch any recorded footage of a real good dark match and kind of felt the need to do Commentry for it? I was watching a Mr Perfect Dark Match near the end of his life and thought this match is great it so should have made TV and it really needs someone offering some talk on top of it

Apart from the TNT title match, I honestly can't say there's anything I'm interested in.

Doesn't feature any input from the majority of the Hart family, however. Vince Russo is also absent from this one, having brought the Blue Blazer gimmick back in the first place.

The Over The Edge PPV is actually now on the WWE Network, but with references to the incident removed. Looking at the photos, the ring canvas however remains bloody (and broken) throughout the entire show, which also beggars belief. Not a show I've ever cared to watch in its entirety. This episode was depressing enough.

Thanks I will give that a watch later. I still remember where I was when I heard the news about it.

One thing I’ve never understood was Owen staying in the WWF after Bret left. Is there any story behind that? Was he simply under contract and happy to stay?

I'm pretty sure he was still under contract and they wouldn't let him go, maybe he thought with lots of other talented guys leaving his position would improve so it wasn't worth fighting it.

They tore up his contract and gave him a new one worth $400,000 a year because they wanted to keep at least one Hart.

What a dogshit week it’s been. While I wasn’t familiar with the work of Hana Kimura like I was with Shad Gaspard’s, the circumstances surrounding their deaths are both tragic. Seeing the outpouring of love for both has been heartwarming but still a massive loss for everyone who loved them. Shad making inroads into the movie/tv biz with projects that may never see the light of day and Kimura being only 22 with a whole career/life ahead of her sucks.

Why AEW is insisting on using Mike Tyson tonight like we’re still in 1998 to debut the TNT title I have no idea. I can’t remember the year, but I remember Tyson and his son being on a RAW celebrating with DX (again) and he was past relevance then...and this must have been at least 10 years ago.

Bringing in Tyson just doesn’t exactly scream “yeah, we’re this cool and current product”

Shame theres no crowds at the moment or they could really capitalise on it by selling ice-lollys that look like ears with sections already torn off.
