Cody Rhodes handled the Vince McMahon questions far better than Triple H did during the post RR press conference.

Triple H did reveal however that he doesn't like the term 'Forbidden Door', and thinks it's stupid. Presumably because they weren't the ones to think of it and because the forbidden door in WWE probably means what's going on in Vince McMahon's office.

It wasn't a bad event, but something felt missing. Maybe it was the lack of big surprises, or the predictable results, but it didn't seem to have the magic of previous years.

Just finished. I actually thought the men's Rumble was the least entertaining of the night. As others have said it just felt flat. Truths spot was probably the best part of it.

Happy Bayley won. The other two matches were predictable but still good.

I'm assuming Punk to win the EC then to face Seth.

Also so many weird people going mad on twitter over HHH dodging questions on Vince McMahon at the press conference. What did they expect him to do? Seriously  he could have dodged them better but he was never going to answer the questions.

Well that's not exactly what he said at all. He said looking at all the positives it's been an amazing week. As I said he could have dodged them better. He should have just outright said, I'm sure you'll understand that I can't discuss this at the moment and stuck with that.

it really is.

in direct response to a question asking how much people knew about the current situation, he said

"i'm going to what do exactly what you would expect me to do here. we just had an amazing week."

he then goes on to talk about the netflix deal, the rock joining the board and selling out royal rumble. only after all that does he even admit there's a negative before dismissing it as though it's no big deal.

Some fascinating listening here from various perspectives:

(probably goes without saying, but loads of strong language and content that may offend throughout)

One can only hope that he finally pays the price for what must be a lifetime of being an evil piece of gooseberry fool.

CM Punk is significantly injured according to F4Wonline. Hurt himself in the Royal Rumble match.

PWInsider saying he suffered a torn triceps and is believed to be heading towards surgery after RAW tonight. Recovery time is between 3-6 months, so that’s one of their main event matches for ‘Mania gone.

Honestly I bet he has regrets of waiting so long to return to wrestling. 3rd time in less than 3 years. Spent the prime years of his wrestling career not wrestling. I think it was Seth in an interview who said when you are in your 20s you have the all the athleticism but not the psychology but when you hit your 30s everything comes together and you're at the top of your game. Punk will be 46 this year.

Hope it's a work but I doubt it.

Has he had more than one match over the last couple of years where he hasn’t been injured come the end of it? He should probably just listen to his body at this point and call it a day.

I’m convinced Luther in AEW is Gregg Wallace.

I really hope Seth or someone mentions how Punk used to always call Kevin Nash injury prone, and here we are...

I've not kept up with the product for years but I always make an effort to watch the Rumble match.

This year's edition was poor, severely lacking star power and some of the in-ring work was incredibly sloppy. They tipped their hand early with regard to the winner when, at the start, they made a big deal about how nobody since Austin had managed successive victories.

One man should not have this much power in this game. Luckily I'm not an ordinary man.

I’ve seen in a few places that one of the rumoured main events scheduled for Elimination Chamber next month from Australia is Rhea Ripley (understandably) vs Nia Jax (out of their strawberry floating mind). Surely the Aussies deserve better.

Pat McAfee is now a permanent fixture on RAW. If I had to watch as part of my job I’d probably kill myself.
