Nothing like a US show to make me eternally thankful for TV Asahi's production.

I don't understand how Jeff Cobb ended up in Ring of Honour jobbing out to strawberry floating geeks.

KENTA Vs Ibushi was way better than anything I saw him do in 5 years with the WWE too.

I didn't see any of his 205 live stuff though.

A gimmick of "the worst possible retirement opponent" is probably better than whatever I imagine WWE are doing with him right now.

So I woke up in the night and caught the last 20 mins of Raw. That was one of the flattest endings I have seen. Couldn't believe the show ended where it did to be honest. If I didn't know the time, I'd have thought it was a mid show segment.

How much were the tickets? Am definitely wanting to catch a Wrestle Kingdom at some point.

£150 for both nights for 1F tickets, so about £75 each night.

Yeah, I went for 1F as it seems to be the best view/cost balance. I think the closest seats are around £150 which is still way better than the prices I've seen for Wrestlemania.

Tickets in Japan are pretty expensive in general though. I paid >£30 for a run of the mill Big Japan show in Korakuen Hall last year, and they were the cheapest seats.

I'm gutted I missed out on the G1 last year, was in town but couldn't for the life of me work out the Lawson Station machines. :slol:

Can always go another year. I may look into the next Wrestle Kingdom if I'm in Japan (am looking for work and might end up there, who knows), and it's definitely better priced than Wrestlemania with the show almost certainly going to be better. I know Wrestlemania is a complete weekend package thing though which adds to the experience, but I'd still rather WK. Maybe a Wrestlemania one day when the roster and booking is a on a strong run, let's see if Bischoff and Heyman turn things around.

I just quickly watched this on YouTube.

It doesn’t even appear to make sense! So let me get this straight, Cedric LOST THE MATCH, but then gets in the ring, takes his mask off and acts like he just pulled one over on Shane and Drew. YOU strawberry floatin LOST, MATE! Your plan didn’t work! You achieved nothing, what are you so happy about?! The crowd sitting there like ‘Who’s this dude?’ He was more over as Gary.

It was baffling. The faces tried to pull a crafty trick, Cedric got absolutely decimated and they lost. Then they tried to stand tall at the end like they had pulled off a big shock and the plan of the century. It made them both look like complete and utter idiots. And yeah, like you said, it was like nobody recognised Cedric anyway!

And that's the final build to a Taker match! It's just astonishing. It felt like a Vince Mcmahon show again. Just absolutely no sense at all.
