Decent event, liked the crackerbarrel match for what it was. 3 hours of super intense action would be too much, they do still need more lihtt hearted popcorn eating matches.
Glad Jericho won, Hangman hasn't really stood out since he got the push. Being a face is difficult, Hangman didn't strike me as someone ready for that mantle. Cody or Omega need to be the next guys for the top spot, maybe Dustin too as they are incredibly over. Perhaps Darby Allin as a long shot too.
It was a good event overall, certainly good enough that the crowd didn't get bored and chant for Punk which was a real achievement.
Zero Librarian shite on the main show as well and they kept it to a minimum on the pre-show, so it's good to see they took the major criticism of that on board.
Well she may as well, it's not like WWE is doing anything with her...
WWE has finally decided to turn Bayley heel last night (so naturally the crowd popped huge). Let's see if she has it in her to pull it off convincingly. I thought they were about to give her some attitude when she attacked Sasha last year and shouted "you ain't gooseberry fool" but then it went nowhere.
Ironically it's massively embarrassing but will be a hell of a story when Jericho blames the fans for stealing his belt! It sounds like it should be reasonably easy for them to find out what happened to it though. If it was stolen at an airport, there should be plenty of security footage. Assuming the police actually bother looking for a wrestling belt that is!
This could (should) in theory give them a load of great material online throughout September, culminating in someone like Dean Ambrose then showing up with it on the first episode on TNT.

Yeah I hope they kayfabe the gooseberry fool out of it on BTE. Graves slightly referenced it last night when he said Maverick was going to take his newly won 24/7 title in a limousine to a chain restaurant
The bubbly is more over in less than a week than 95% of the WWE's roster.
AEW also had their first introduction programme on TNT last Friday and it pulled in 390,000 viewers at 10pm on about 2 day's notice and with no promotion.
Anyone think we will get a "we want bubbly" chant at a WWE show at some point?
Jericho is fantastic at coming up with these great little catchphrases that really get over. He needs to be careful though as he is beginning to slip back into his "the list" character!
To be fair most wrestlers would live their entire careers off one of jericho’s characters, he’s had about four or five distinctive and excellent personas.
While it’s over as all hell and I’m probably missing the point (thatsthejoke.jpeg and such) but isn’t this whole “bubbly” thing lifted from Dumb and Dumber
It looks like Owens could be headed to NXT. I wonder if this is the start of some kind of coming back from the bottom story. Can't say I'm hugely excited by that, NXT need him when they get their Wednesday slot, but he's one of the beta aspects on the main programming at the moment.
