Really looking forward to tonight as well. AEW hasn't had a bad PPV yet, and I can't see any reason on paper why this one won't be one of their best either.

Everyone going for a Jon Moxley victory, then?

Yeah. I think you have to go with Moxley. They've built him up as the next Stone Cold so you have to put the belt on him imo. He needs to hold the belt for a long time too.

I think Kenny and Hangman will retain and can see MJF beating Cody by shenanigans.

Unless he reveals his eye is fine at the start of the match, I think he might be losing. Jericho hasn't become stale as the champion quite yet and they can lean on the injury to protect Moxley in his loss. I can see a lot of different stories branching off no matter which way they go though so it's tough to call.

My predicted winners in bold:

Dark Order vs. SCU
PAC vs. Orange Cassidy
Darby Allin vs. Sammy Guevara
Jake Hager vs. Dustin Rhodes
Cody vs. MJF
Kenny Omega & Hangman Page vs. The Young Bucks
Nyla Rose vs. Kris Statlander
Chris Jericho vs. Jon Moxley

What I really like about the three top matches on the card is you can quite easily see any of the participants winning.

Just watching SmackDown and the show is opening with Goldberg predictably getting booed out of the building again. Roman Reigns then walks out and he also get’s mostly booed.

This company just doesn’t help themselves. Wouldn’t it be something if Goldberg’s last appearance in WWE is of him once again getting booed at WrestleMania just like at XX against Lesnar.

AEW Revolution The Buy In starts on YouTube at 12am. ITV aren’t airing it any more, what with the closure of Box Office.

Guess they changed their mind on the Buy In! Removed the stream from YT and Fite now lists it at 12:30. Quite a lot of people have been left confused by it on social media and now don’t know how to watch. It’s hidden away on Fite and streaming exclusively on Twitter rather than the advertised YouTube stream. Not the best of starts, and not a mistake you’d ever see the WWE making.

Colt Cabana alongside Christopher Daniels dispatching the Dark Order

Packed house by the looks of things. Tony Schiavone back for this PPV too.

Jim Ross calling him Swagger again and Schiavone pointedly saying Jake Hager afterwards. :slol: Man, AEW would have been having a great time with WWE’s legal department if this were 1996.

AEW doing their version of War Games on March 25, named “Blood and Guts” after Vince McMahon’s comments on a WWE Conference Call. Could have easily been a PPV match but they’re doing it on TNT, continuing that old tradition.

That World Tag Title match is definitely going to go down as one of the best of 2020.

I don’t know what’s worse: MJF’s fake tan, Cody’s neck art, or the band singing his theme song Live.

On the flipside of that, if there’s anyone better looking than Brandi Rhodes you’re talking out yo ass, boyo.

Cody's tattoo is a strawberry floating shambles.

I wasn't sure if it was a transfer or painted on at first.

Would have looked amazing on his arm. Why he thought a neck tattoo would be a good idea is beyond me. Especially at that size.

The guy clearly knows nothing about graphic design

I don't watch a lot of Wrestling in full bit I watched the PAC/Omega match from during the week. Wow, absolutely phonemenal!

I thought Cody vs MJF and Jericho Moxley were a tad disappointing. That said, the tag team match was ace. Rose vs Statlander was probably worst match of the evening. Statlander seemed really off her game, botched a lot, including botching a kip up!

She had the flu earlier in the week apparently.

The tag match was one of the greatest matches I've ever seen.

The second best match of the night was probably Pac vs Orange Cassidy. Thoroughly entertaining throughout and the live crowd loved it.

I enjoyed the PPV. Tag match was fantastic and the Orange/PAC match put a massive smile on my face. WWE PPVs are just so bland in comparison.

Those were my exact thoughts while watching

I got thinking about the WM card, I think they should have gone with Cena vs Goldberg and Bray vs Reigns. To me, that gives them the big name match, whilst keeping the fans happy that a part timer doesn't hold the title.

I actually think Cena vs Goldberg would have been much better received and in my mind is actually the bigger match as it again pits two huge stars from different eras against each other.

Reigns still isn't at the level of a Cena or Rock as much as WWE likes to push him. Nothing against the guy, but I'm pretty sure anyone drawn to the card for Goldberg will probably wonder who the hell Reigns is! It's not like he hasn't already had the mantle passed to him a few times already now, I can't see Goldberg being the guy who makes him.
