AEW should definitely pick up EC3. He was great in Impact and absolutely wasted in the WWE.

Will be very interesting to see what AEW do. I've heard nothing about their financial state at present and by that I mean Khan Snr wealth and how he may be effected in this downturn. Are they actually in a position to seize on any of this?

They’re taped until May so there isn’t going to be an Attitude era moment of someone turning up, say, tonight on Dynamite.

Even with their vast wealth, not sure the Khan‘s want to be pissing money up the wall on AEW just for the hell of it. They’ll be facing many of the same issues as WWE in terms of no tickets sales and reduced merchandise sales. Boy, did they get lucky on signing that new TNT TV deal too...

I think AEW will hire a few (definitely Rusev), but others are probably in trouble.

Any news on Lana. I take it they've only let Rusev go?

Lana’s probably going shortly too, but it’s funny how they’ve just started on TV Lana and Lashley having marital issues. Had they had any foresight whatsoever and actually taped their shows as they were supposed to, that storyline could have had a logical conclusion. Instead she’ll just vanish and that’ll be the end of that clusterfuck.

Surprised they haven’t cut Lashley as well.

I think Rusev is a shoe-in for NJPW tbh. Hopefully he does something similar to Mox long term.

I find David Starr to be a pain in the arse at the best of times, but he's absolutely on the money with wrestlers unionising.

It'll never happen but i'd love to see everyone down tools at WWE en masse. In theory it would take a Roman Reigns or an Undertaker to instigate something like that, and lets be honest, there's no chance in hell of those two starting something. Even though Roman had the bottle to say no to Mania.

Undertaker's a proper company man as well, doubt he'd ever down tools no matter what was going on. As you say, no chance in hell.

That’s a shame. An iconic ring announcer.

He was to me the best ring announcer in wrestling, and probably always will be.

I found it extremely disappointing WWE effectively retired him from regular television after the Attitude era concluded.

It’d be nice if WWE could upload this themselves and take out the bloody awful commentary.

It was announced on SmackDown tonight that the Money in the Bank ladder matches will take place at WWE's corporate headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut. The matches will begin on the ground floor, with the briefcases hanging on the roof of Titan Towers.

One match shot in this style might be great fun. Both (I assume there's two) may be a bit over the top.

Looking at the release list, some of them make sense when you think about the haulage of talent they have coming through from NXT and already on the roster.

Hawkins, Ryder ,Slater

Veterans in the company really, used mostly to get others over I think in the last few years, never going to change direction at least currently in the WWE. May return down the road.

Aiden English, Epico, Primo

I literally forgot he was still there. Same for the Colon's

Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows, Maria & Mike K

Generally believe they were only signed for AJ, rumors they were going to leave a few times over the years, were really underused for what they can do. Same with Maria & Mike Kanellis, been a lot of rumors about exits.

Rusev

Opinion seems mixed about Rusev across the board, he's been there for ages, he was built as this monster, then as they always seem to do in WWE they ruined it, didn't pull the right trigger, again has been rumored to leave, backstage issues for a while. I'm surprised Lana is still there because she's not on any of the women's wrestling levels at all, or even good as a valet let's face it.

Kurt Angle

Have to think he's probably under a performers contract and a legends deal. If they are only filming in Florida, does it make any sense to be paying him, also could be a an agreed thing in light of the COVID situation and traveling and such.

Deonna

Always had a soft spot  :(

Lana's wrestling ability doesn't matter when she's Vince's type (hot white blonde with big tits) but she was gooseberry fool hot as Rusev's manager. WWE botched Rusev years ago and he never really recovered. He could have easily been one of the top heels. Would love to see him in New Japan.

Deonna was criminally underused but apparently she was wanting out of there for a while. AEW should be all over her.
