Can someone explain what is going on with this Ospreay talk? I’m aware Riddle has been accused of forcing someone into sexual acts but what is the think with Ospreay?

One of his friends in the business (I forget who) was accused of rape. The victim was a female wrestler and there were rumours that he and Bea used their influence to get the victim blacklisted from most promotions in the UK.

I don't know much more about it other than it was a couple of years ago now.

Ah right, that makes sense now. I knew he wasn’t being accused of doing anything sexual but couldn’t get my head around what was going on with both of them.

Unfortunately that would just make them arseholes, which is nothing new in the wrestling business.

I didn't realise David Lagana was accused too. He's resigned from the NWA. That's a big hit for them as it sounded like he basically edited and produced all of their shows. They've had to suspend production. Could be very bad news for them, although that Billy Corgan hopefully will be able to find someone to replace him.

Grim times for wrestling, looks like a lot of shady characters are finally getting caught.

I’ve seen Joey Ryan and Marty Scurll’s names being bandied about. What are they being accused of?

While I don’t agree with firing people based on allegations (by WWE’s own terms they’d be suspended pending further investigations), both 205 and NXT UK are failing entities, COVID-19 made it even worse, and now all these allegations on top of that, WWE will be using this as the perfect opportunity to get rid of a lot of dead weight.

You compare Gallagher to Velveteen Dream (I think even more stuff has now come out against him) though and you have to wonder what he’s still doing on TV, especially as it involves kids.

AEW have sent Jimmy Havoc to rehab with his status being under review after completion of said rehab.

His one is a real weird one. His ex-girlfriend of three years has spoken out about when they dated he would manipulate her by threatening to kill himself and would self harm in front of her and was extremely paranoid and depressed. She also admitted that they were both addicted to drugs for most of their relationship.

Whilst coercive control is obviously a very real form of mental abuse, It's difficult to know if Havoc's mental state and the manipulative control was down to the drug addiction.

He sounds a bit of a victim of his own mental health from how it sounded. He clearly is not in a good place at all. I think his allegations are different in that if he can get well he could redeem himself.

But he won't really be missed on the AEW roster. Since he has been there, he hasn't stood out at all to be brutally honest.

Scurll is accused of having sex with underage girls. Was allegedly asked after a show whether he wanted paid or have sex with a 15 year old girl. Chose the latter.

Whether guilty or not, pretty much everyone I've seen accused on the AEW and WWE rosters is disposable. The biggest name is probably Jack Swagger and he's useless.

The irony of AEW bringing in Mike Tyson during all of this isn't lost on me.

On an unrelated note, I've watched AEW Dynamite every week and either ITV have cut a load of segments or The Bunny went from being with Butcher and the Blade one week and then without explanation has suddenly become a love interest of QT Marshall the next.

She appeared in the stands during a QT match on Dark and caught his eye. That's it. Zero explanation of butcher and the blade.

Wreslting world forgets Mike Tyson as does the Twitter mob. Every pro wrestler seems to sport a Tyson roots of fight too with pride. They can’t call out this gooseberry fool and still be fine with that

It would appear to be the case yes. Seems a little odd way of doing it but then it was done in a way that the hardcore fans got t experience it as they are the ones watching the documentary.

I’m not convinced. I thought when he left his jacket and hat in the ring at WrestleMania against Roman Reigns that was it and it wasn’t. I think there will be something that brings him back, just like there was with Terry Funk (over and over again), Ric Flair when he went to TNA, or more recently Shawn Michaels at the Disaster in the Desert, which was the biggest surprise.

They could probably get more mileage out of him with another boneyard style match, but honestly it would have been nice to see him retire in front of a big Mania crowd.

I'm convinced if he had a normal match with AJ in the ring, AJ could make a good match out of it. They've often said AJ could get a good match wrestling a broom, he seems perfect to be able to get one last decent normal match out of Taker.
