The amount of ads on the ITV Hub while watching Dynamite is just crazy :x

It's making the AEW Plus Subscription on FITE really tempting.

It’s REALLY bad. Some weeks it can take 2 and a half hours to watch, pushing it way over even its ITV4 airing (which is now also over 2 hours). More strawberry floating adverts than TNT!

Some bizarre bleeping on the show this week though, which I presume is Turner. The muting of the audio also kept missing the swearing.

Mine seems to glitch out sometimes too (though this might be normal for ITV). You get the AEW logo screen appearing as it normally does after the adverts, then suddenly it cuts out and instead of going back to the program, another round of adverts appear. It's so annoying, especially when the advert breaks are so long already.

I really enjoy Dynamite but ITV seems to do their best to ruin that and as you say KK, it can take nearly 2 1/2 hours to get through it with all the added ads.

The final insult, the picture quality isn't great either.

In comparison I've watched the WWE highlights on My5 occasionally and there's sometimes no adverts at all, or just a couple. I'm not sure if zero adverts is a good thing either, but there's a reasonable balance to be struck and ITV are just taking the piss.

Yeah, I've noticed how the picture quality is a little off. I wonder is it a bandwidth thing? Agree with you KK, I don't mind adverts as I appreciate they have to make money but they do take it to the extreme sometimes.

Just need to get through the latest episode of Dynamite then I'll finally be ready for All Out :)

Nobody posted the news yet about WWE banning all performers from making 3rd party revenue?

That's no more Twitch, Tik Tok, Cameo or anything else that made them money on the side.

Classic WWE.

You guys should fork out the £3.80/month or whatever for AEW Plus on Fite. Much better.

I don't think it's a ban on all third party revenue. Meltzer seems to think WWE will be opening their own Twitch/TikTok so keeping them to that. Still scummy and defines WWE with regards to them stifling creativity and an independent thought.

Apparently WWE may want to launch their own kind of twitch sort of thing, to monitize what the talent are doing in their free time. Absolute scummy move, but it's WWE so nobody is really surprised.

Got to hand it to Roman Reigns, I slated him as a babyface but he is an absolutely brilliant heel. They have a ready made story there with AJ Styles as a face given his real life heat with Heyman. Plus we all know Brock will be back eventually so it could lead to a great Mania main event at last.

It's £4.89 but still great value.

I gave up on ITV Hub in the second or third week of Dynamite airings I think.

Just checked, yeah it is if you buy through the app. I updated my subs yesterday through the website and it was $4.99 which worked out about £3.70 8-)

AEW letting Matt Hardy continue last night was one of the stupidest things I've seen a wrestling company do for a while, which is saying something.

Kind of wish they pulled the trigger on MJF. Have to wonder if they fancy doing it on TV though whilst they are still trying to grow.

Moxley has kind of dropped into the same position he was in as WWE champion, in that his feuds aren't particularly compelling and his matches aren't exactly must see.

Locusts of contempt

I have to hand it to Bray Wyatt, he can do a promo with this sort of garbage and actually make it seem decent. But the whole package of Retribution just comes across as corny and not intimidating in the least!

I kind of think Tony Khan & such should stay off Twitter a bit, or at least not reply to every little thing. I don’t think he’s handled the Matt Hardy situation well at all, amongst other criticism.

Currently in the first hour of last week’s All Out. Man, so far this is a bad PPV. Hopefully things pick up otherwise this is going to be a long 3 hours...

Ross’ disdain during the dentist match was obvious, he barely said a word throughout.

Even finding 45 minutes to watch RAW on YouTube or My5 feels like a chore.

I can only imagine how hardcore the continent of 27,000 or so must be that still watch the 3 hours on BT Sport.
