Wasn't there the round of predictions for the Year that will come into play as well? I know I missed that one so am definitely screwed.

Yeah good point. That could make the difference. In retrospect I'm glad I went with The Rock. I just believe that Rock won't lose in front of his home crowd in Miami. They'll do a return match at Summerslam and Cena will go over there.

A - Always
B - Back
C - Cena

It's worked well for me this year.

Just finished watching EC. Very disappointed with it really.

I was expecting the Cena and Kane match to actually go somewhere. I thought he would give in to hate and beat Kane by going berserk or something, but nothing. I can assume that is it for their feud now and Cena will just say that it proves that he can overcome hate and be himself, blah blah blah and his character will stay as it is.

The only plus point was Santino. The crowd were massively into him which helped make the SD chamber. Problem was you knew that he was never going to win the title. Also i like how there was no crowd reaction at all when Sheamus came out  the crowd just weren't bothered one bit.

I assume that the Jericho thing was done that way so that he will be made no.1 contender at WM because he didn't lose the match.

I don't know the current Sky Sports 3 & 4 subscription numbers, but that's only comparing one episode of RAW (which goes out a total of 4/5 times throughout the course of the week) & one episode of IMPACT WRESTLING (which goes out 4). RAW doesn't pull in 400,000 viewers. I can only take an educated guess, but I'd put the difference between both promotions somewhere between 30-40% variant.

IMPACT WRESTLING is on a semi-decent station, but not a great one. Challenge is a channel that only shows repeats (give or take the occasional newly commissioned series, like Bullseye). With the odd anomaly (such as Celebrity Who Wants To Be A Millionaire), IMPACT WRESTLING on a per-airing basis is the number one programme every single week - as you'd expect, as it's a first run show.

EDIT - Apparently Smackdown's live tomorrow night. Did not know that.

Between the quick dismantling of Mark Henry's monster character, Nettie farting and Khali being elevated to main event status, again, I can't see it myself.

Over the last year, how many main event matches on Smackdown have actually ended in a proper finish and not DQ/total horse gooseberry fool? The tag team division consists of two teams that would have struggled to make Sunday Night Heat back in the day or rolling out Santino with a comedy partner. The kicker, though, is that even the WWE know it's failing and have had it leech off Raw for months for a "SuperShow".

Matter of opinion but I think Smackdown's awful.

Because he took part in the Chamber? Kofi and Santino did too, doesn't mean they were pushed to main event status

I thought SmackDown was great, but has quite quickly begun tailing off again in the last couple of months. There's a real lack of depth in terms of the roster; I sometimes feel like I'm watching the same mid-card feuds on an endless repeating loop.

The commentators are usually more interested getting themselves over, with a numerous stream of in-jokes. Cole was either asleep at the table, or had left completely at various points last Friday.

Well neither match was the main event if you want to get into technicalities

I feel really sorry for khali. If the reports are anything to go by then the guy feels pain just walking.

Khali shouldn't be wrestling at all. Look at the guys in ROH or TNA who could make miracles out of the opportunities he's been awarded just for his sheer size. He's a gormless, personality vacuum.

I'm also talking about on Smackdown, though, and his semi-successful return at the Rumble. Klein's point is succinct - there are too few wrestlers and too few things happening to the point where it feels like the entire show has gone stale, with nothing surprising, shocking or exciting likely to happen.

I know Sin Cara was supposed to address this before his injuries/ban but they should have added a Cruiserweight Division before now.

Jim Ross has waded in on the Chris Brown "debate". When asked about the chances of a Punk vs. Brown match taking place in the WWE...

Jim Ross, JRSBARBQ.com wrote:I'd suggest that would be a classic, Gorilla Monsoon reply of 'HIGHLY UNLIKELY.' Chris Brown couldn't be melted and poured on the WWE Champion plus I've never heard of Brown physically engaging any male.

If The Rock loses clean in Miami - hell, just loses at all - I have a strong feeling the ring is going to look like a bomb site.

Normally I'd have Cena nailed on to win- but the fact that Rock said at the press conference himself that he'll be at WM next year, with it now coming out he's expect to do something at Summerslam, I'm getting a tad doubtful....

No way is Cena losing. Not a hope in hell. Might as well be saying Taker will lose the streak
