Was I the only one disappointed when the Shane match ended without the usual high spot? The RKO finish was awesome though, that is easily the best finisher when executed perfectly.

"Tonight! 30 men will do battle..."

Yes, I always mark out for this stuff. It's embarrassing really.

Showing that HHH and Stephanie are married now will gooseberry fool on the whole 2000 storyline. Bastards.

Looks good. Looks like the torch will be passed to Orton at 25.

And this is the first Mania Taker match where you can't really predict who is going to win. Although I suppose his match against Edge had a bit of a question mark over it. But if the streak was ever going to end, it would end in this match. It won't though. HBK gets to retire Flair AND end the Taker streak? I don't think so. Should be an amazing, amazing match however.

Another match they could feasibly do is Shane & Vince Vs Rhodes & DiBiase in a street fight. Bit risky but it'd be a great push for Legacy especially with Orton most likely winning the title.

RAW was great, for the first time in what seems like a bloody age i did not fast forward through chuncks of RAW, i actually sat there and watched it all.

I'm glad that Cena is growing on you, for me Cena is fantastic, i kind of feel that he has been lost on our generation, he could have been fantastic in the Attitude era. I really dislike all the Cena hate from some people. He is great on the mic and great in the ring. Despite all the hate out there he really does seem to be winning the crowd over, since he's been back from injury he crowd reactions have been very pro cena and very loud. His reception are now the biggest in WWE again, louder pops than Hardy & HHH.

Also for the first time in ages i was in HBK again, he's been lost on me for a few yrs. I actually really enjoyed watching him poke JBL over and over again, it actually felt real, JBL looked like he was going to explode.

Also how old did HHH look at the end when he was putting on his hulked up angry face.

And did anyone spot the nice camel toe shot of steph when she was on the phone with her legs open :D

Edit: also it dawned on me watching the Jerricho part that they are using his scenes with various legends to plug the Legends of Wrestlemania game. I'm guessing that was obvious to everyone and i just took ages to realise. I'm assuming a different legend of some sort may appear every week to put him straight so to speak, until Austin turns up....

I enjoyed No Way Out. The fact that Cena was in the chamber for no more than about three minutes was mint, and I laughed when his chamber opened and he waved at Edge, who looked like he'd just shat himself at the time. Still, this year's Mania is shaping up very well, I'm looking forward to it this tmie round.

:? What do you mean torch? Orton's had these runs for years, he won WM last year, will he win again?

I'm guessing at the moment he will lose, but it all depends on how it's built up over the next month, don't forget we still have over a month till WM. I'm Orton can still go around bullying people and mostly coming out on top until Mania then i think HHH will win. Especially as both titles have been changing hands too much recently.

I'm wondering how they are going to work the title situation out. SD has both champs. I'm guessing HHH will appear a lot on RAW unofficially until Mania but still be a SD wrestler. And that Cena will keep appearing on SD but still be a RAW wrestler. Annoying thing is that i've now got to start watching SD again till Mania.

He's stepped up a level since last year. He's on fire right now. Mania 25 is a more symbolic torch to pass.

I'm thinking that Hunter wants to be a 17 time world champion before he leaves - a lot more short title reigns for him in the near future so that he can be better than Flair.

Compared to the latest offerings that we have had from the WWE, RAW & NWO have both been top notch! Really well done IMO.

Raw was quality, WWE is on a hot streak at the moment.

Thought the Jericho/Piper segment was the best thing about the show.

Glimpses of Attitude Shawn Michaels last night.

Old fashioned main event, too.

BTW, has Christian's name even been mentioned on WWE programming bar ECW yet?

That was brilliant, Piper's promo was one of the best I've heard for a long time. I still have no idea who Jericho could be facing at Mania, it's bound to be a legend or hall of famer, but I have no idea which one.

Austin maybe? Jericho could push around all the old guys only for Austin to make the save. Would be pretty epic.
