Think of any primetime show in history. I can't honestly think of a single episode of anything that was more ridiculous, in its own context, than some of the stuff Russo booked in WCW. I don't know of any primetime show that was so illogical.

For this to go out on TNT & TBS for so long is actually quite incredible when you think about it. The only thing more incredible is that, 10 years later, Vince Russo is still in the exact same job, doing the exact same thing, helping decimate yet another promotion. It defies belief.

I'd given up watching WCW by that point, but I had no idea the Nitro set had turned into a peice of gooseberry fool aswell? :? The 98 era style was so much better!

You might remember last year that Zellery had GRAPL Champion 2009 in his sig for so long that searching for Zellery in google images brought up his gamer card and the fact he was GRAPL Champion.

Well ROTS has done the same. Except you search for GRAPL in google images with safesearch off (NSFW) and see what it brings up.

The first set change came in on the April 5th, 1999 episode of Nitro (this was built around the new WCW logo). This was then replaced with the set in the first video almost exactly one year later on the April 10th, 2000 show when WCW had a complete overhaul. It was used on Nitro & PPV events. For a brief period, the ramp was connected to the ring (ala TNA currently).

Thunder - April 2000 to March 21, 2001.

From August 2000 (New Blood Rising), their PPVs used the Thunder set. From October 2000, all WCW programming used the Thunder stage (much like WWE do now for their TV with the WWE HD set) as Nitro & Thunder were taped back-to-back to save money.

Ha, the music they're playing while they're shaving the guys on Smackdown is the same before Jerichos pyro went off back in 1999 when he debuted.

Wasn't it just the general tension building music they used, like when they lower the steel cage?

About time, he's talented but will do much better in Mexico and/or in AAA or something, WWE gave him a few pushes and he never really took to them past 2005 ish

Carlito’s termination was due to his first violation of the WWE Wellness Program and his subsequent refusal to attend a rehabilitation facility.

Since when did you get made to go to Rehab with your first violation? :?

Maybe it depends on why they breach the program, what drugs they were taking, performance enhancer or recreational etc..

Refusal to go to rehab would certainly be the thing that pushed them to fire him. Can't blame them to be honest.

It's a shame that Carlito's gone from the WWE, especially as there were rumblings of teaming him with his brother & cousin, and possibly with DiBiases future stable. He was a solid performer but never really got the chance to shine, just hope his drug problem isn't as bad as it could be.
