3 more than WWE have managed. That must really grind their gears.

I remember one promo from RAW between Trish Stratus & Lita at Madison Square Garden where Lita was receiving so much abuse, the segment fell off a cliff. The equivalent of Goldberg/Lesnar from WrestleMania XX.

New York and Chicago, lands of the smarks 8-) .

Marking at this. KoW are the best tag team around (my favourite at least - watch the ROH iPPV next Sunday) and they both deserve to make it. WWE will probably gooseberry fool on them though, they already did once to Claudio.

Did anyone mention AJ's ridiculous elbow drop on Bully through the table at Slammiversary?

It seemed so reckless.

I was certain that despite breaking his fall some, he came down at such velocity that he could have easily broke his arm. :?

C'mon, this has to the worst place for them to go (not in terms of money which it's all about, put that to one side of the moment), WWE have no idea how to promote good tag team wrestling. Who would they fight? Is there even a tag team division anymore? Last time I saw they changed the belts to some ridiculous Roman insignia

Can anyone explain the TNA World Heavyweight Title match at Slammiversary to me?

At first I thought it was a no DQ match, but then the commentators started to question why there was no count but I assumed it was simply because they hadn't entered the ring yet and I thought the commentators would have known that too. :fp:

Then after the match officially started, the Ref started counting when they went outside so I thought 'okay it's a straight match.'

Then Ken Anderson low blowed Sting right in front of the Ref and wasn't disqualified. :|

You're asking for someone to explain TNA logic?

This being IMPACT WRESTLING, you've got to think 90s. Therefore maybe it was the old "at the referee's discretion" rule? In WCW in particular, leeway was usually granted by the referee in big title matches so the fans - theoretically, in storyline at least - would get a winner. In the WWF, the main event was usually changed to No DQ at the last minute.

This is also the same company that insists on ringing the bell for 5 hours when a match is thrown out (WCW tradition #768).

Reality of this situation? Nobody in the match knew the rules, nor had notified the commentators; the wrestlers & referee had forgotten the rules; Mr Anderson decided to go into business for himself, so the referee had to overlook it like a moron.

I started watching Slammiversary... I lasted about an hour and a half. I had to switch it off.

Just watched the 3 way x-divison match on impact. That should really be a reality check for the idiots running the place, that match tore the house down, the crowd was more into that match than they have been for any TNA show in the last 6 months.

I also forgot to be another to laugh at Sting becoming The Joker during that match.

His hair doesn't usually go that wild but it was so apt for it to decide that night of all nights after he had already gone with the Joker paints.
