Someone a few pages back mentioned Bret Hart - what did happen to him, he seemed to just disappear off without any real fanfare etc..

I mean, his initial return was awesome.. his 'Mania match was dire and then they sort of pretended like he was going to wrestle a few matches.. then he did kinda wrestle a little bit once or twice then he was made GM, then he disappeared.. then came back then appeared as a manager type role a couple of times then he just seemed to vanish.

From what i remember, in terms of storyline, the Nexus dealt with him, then i think Vince came out the next week and said it was all part of his plan and that he relieved him of his GM duties. Of course i could be completely wrong

I think the HHH-Taker thing kind of confirms that neither of them will be sticking about for the long term. Won't be surprised if they do go down the retirement line again for HHH, and Taker will disappear for a few months after WM again most likely. Will probably feud with Barrett sometime in the summer or later in the year (if they remember and don't feel the need for another Taker/Big Show feud).

My main hope for Wrestlemania is that Natalya gets to officiate the Michael Cole v Jerry Lawler so we can have the first ever Nat King Cole match.

Triple H has basically no-sold that "retirement" that Sheamus has been running round boasting about for the past 10 months. No retaliation? No reason for no-selling it? Triple H just pops up and stares down the Undertaker. Even if you take that, how did Triple H know in "keyfabe" that Taker would be there? It made no sense and basically screamed "Stuck for ideas".

As for disappointment about 2/21/11 turning out to be Undertaker, can't say I'm surprised. Again, no sold a star that needs the rub (Barrett) just so Triple H can have his glory match.

Poor Sheamus and Barret.

Damn, I thought Tazz was going smack Bubba Ray for getting in Tenay's face, just like King did during that feud with Tazz in 2000. :(

Perhaps all of this will be explained next week. Could even have Sheamus interrupt Hunter, & you've then got the main event of Raw set later in the evening.

I think what happened was that we were all talking about it on here for weeks and hhh saw it and basically thought I'm gonna interrupt this son bitch. Hunter was also aware that sting would be showing up as he read that here too so he took him out with a sledge hammer backstage but there was no cameraman around to catch it.

Okay from HHH the character's point of view, i'm sure as soon as he heard/saw the Undertaker in the ring he thought "now's my chance to confront him for retiring my best friend".

I'm sure he'll address Sheamus soon enough, i think he wanted to put Undertaker on notice first.

I'm referring to keyfabe. My problem isn't that Undertaker/Triple H are going to compete, it's that to get there both have basically ignored more enticing/logical return feuds.

Sheamus came out on Raw RIGHT AFTER Triple H returned. He should of looked concerned, bothered even a little moved that the guy he'd crippled was back and looking meaner than ever. Instead he came out to get squashed by a guy that probably won't even feature on the Wrestlemania card, a guy who Sheamus beat in a squash match only a few months ago. It all points to him being stuck in a downward spiral at the minute and my point is that Triple H's return could give him his groove back. Instead it looks like Sheamus is off to fight for the US Championship (If that tease was anything to go by) which will be an enormous step down for a guy that was pushed so intensively throughout 2010. Yeah it's Bryan Danielson and fighting him at Wrestlemania would be aces but Daniels isn't a top tier star. He's a guy who has been in and out of favor with WWE booking since his NXT days and fighting for a title that Daniels has done little to bring credit too only showcases how far Sheamus is slipping down the greasy pole. Money's on that Triple H beats Sheamus clean on Raw in the next 4 weeks and that will be the blow off to the fued. No more, no less.

Triple H saw the 21-2-11 promos and knew Taker would be there. Perfectly plausible.

Anyway, Smackdown looks pretty standard but there's what looks like a great promo to kick start the Cody/Rey feud. Dusty Rhodes looks like he'll be playing a role :D
