Presuming Lawler makes a full recovery and is cleared to wrestle, I think they could do worse than have him return and win the Rumble then take the WHC at Mania. It's curious that a legend of Lawler's status has never won a title in WWE. This is probably the only circumstance where they could do it and get crowd approval.

WWE sure don't skip a beat in getting Tout and the "WWE Universe" cross-promotion in there, do they.

Great to see Lawler up and about though.

Wow he cut an articulate promo.

It does give me a certain appreciation of Cena cause he is just a tad better than that.

The sad self destruction of the former Suinny, Tamara Sytch, 39, continued this past week with three arrests in three days. TMZ.com has the story up currently on the site.

Sytch, just recently out of rehab after admitting hitting rock bottom, was first arrested by police in Branford, CT, on Tuesday night at 8:55 p.m. for disorderly conduct involving a man living in the house she was with.

She was released Wednesday morning on $500 bond. She was then arrested a second time at 4:49 p.m. on similar charges on disorderly conduct charges involving a strangulation incident involving he same man, as well as violating a restraining order.

She was then released on Thursday on $25,000 bond. She was arrested at 8 p.m. on Thursday night for violating the same restraining order involving the same man. She was released earlier today on $2,500 bond.

So sad :(

Sunny :(

In her prime, she's easily the best looking diva in WWE history.

1,224,000 tuned in to IMPACT WRESTLING LIVE! last night, doing a 1.0 rating. This is marginally up from 1,217,000 the week previous.

WWE have been doing a complete hatchet job on copyrighted material, in particular stuff from the 1996-2007 period. Having been rather lenient on copyrighted material in the past, WWE have since issued a statement on why the sudden change of heart:

WWE wrote:Image

For years WWE has produced programming that is rated PG in prime time, and most recently rated G on Saturday mornings. To better reflect our current family-friendly brand of entertainment, WWE is removing some dated and edgier footage from digital platforms. Some of this footage has been misused in political environments without any context of explanation as to when it was produced. This damages the corporate reputation of our company. WWE is well within its rights to protect its intellectual property for fair use.

How can bookies take bets on Pro Wrestling when it's fixed? I don't understand.

Now it's their footage and they have the right to do with it as they see fit, but what is really rather stupid about their reasoning is that this November they're releasing both an Attitude Era themed videogame, and an Attitude Era DVD. If the DVD is just going to be the lamest, most watered down look at that era possible, then don't bother. But if it isn't, & they are going full-board with it, then their reasoning for taking down all this old footage is one massive contradiction. Then again that wouldn't be the first time.

What does make far more sense is wanting to remove all this stuff from YouTube and the like because they're now in the business of selling it again.

Spent last night watching some '99 RAWs including the Owen tribute show and the RAW after the Rumble '99 in which Stone Cold does a gauntlet match against all the members of the Corporation.
