Why do people care if he wrestles at SS?

WM was meant to be his first "WWE match", that was the whole sale in my eyes alot more than Cena vs Rock, it was to see him in the ring for the first time in 7 whole years. Now it's meh. They'll have a stare down at SS, hopefully nothing more than that

Regarding the above.

This is pretty disappointing. Was hoping they'd not shoot their load before next year.

Then again, when they have that pre-match vignette before their match at Mania, it has to have some material in it and what happens at SS will likely fill a good few seconds.

Though I am quite intrigued to think about who their team-mates will be.

Team Cenock:

Rock
Cena
Sheamus
Sin Cara
Zack Ryder

ryder is a must. Would also like to see santino on it as well but I think your list is more likely.

Also think its likely rock will cost cena the win and turn heel.

Wouldn't make sense turning Rock heel. Considering it is his hometown the match is going to happen and he is going to get cheered.

So? It'll have the same dynamic as the Hogan-Rock match at WM28. One of them needs to be heel otherwise this fued is going to be flat and we all know heel Rock is best Rock.

Edit: Or the same dynamic as the Punk-Cena match for a more recent example.

Not really :| (not the heel comment of Rock) but needing too heels - Rock Austin WM17 was two faces that worked very well, they'd been separated all year, bar a few glimpses of the future at RR2001 and Raw. Reckon it'll be the same here. Wouldn't make sense for Rock to turn heel against a whole team.

Why are people spoilering it out of interest? It is going to be all over WWE TV from now onwards.

Anyway, regarding Wrestlemania, if Rock and Cena end up in a handshake like Rock and Hogan at WM18 I am going to be annoyed. With Rock/Hogan it made sense as it was Hogan returning to the fold after a decade away, but this whole Cena/Rock deal is supposed to be personal. The fans don't want to see them kiss and make up.

I agree. I also agree with poncho that it may end up being like the punk v cena match in Chicago.

The thing with Cena is, he has worn out his character completely. This week's Raw totally and clearly highlighted why he needs to change and become the heel the fans want. The crowd were all over him and they basically had to trot out Bret Hart to get Cena some cheers. Del Rio hasn't exactly shone as the lead heel, but Cena being so unpopular isn't helping him get over at all. I'm a firm believer that if Cena goes heel he would still sell merchandise and still sell out arenas so the WWE just have to take the step. There have been so many instances of heels selling merch and tickets by the bucket load.

Seeing Bret on Raw I actually thought was really great but also really sad this week. I never really bothered watching the Vince/Bret feud a few years ago as I felt they pretty much booked it totally wrong by having Bret get his ass kicked every week. So for me this was like a nice thank you to Bret for what he has done for the industry. It was just so incredibly sad to see a guy that was once so athletic be the way he was. I mean, considering what he has been through he still looks great, but I was also feeling very sad to see a guy that was a massive star in my childhood struggle with the sharpshooter. Still, I'm very glad he got the cheers he deserves and I hope everytime they return to Canada they have Bret host the show or something.

Now that we have so many mods in this thread I'm suggesting a 1 day ban for people who spell feud: 'fued'

I'm serious

Whenever Bret's not speaking, he pulls a face that looks exactly like this:

But The Rock cost Cena the championship at Wrestlemania and still got cheered the next night. So him costing Cena a survivor series match is not going to make much difference. If someone has to turn heel then it is Cena. Cena when he first was a heel was actually decent. Just make him heel for a few months during the feud and then have him turn face after the feud.

I still think they would go with rock costing cena and going heel. Not because that's what they should do but rather because that's probably what WWE will do. I'm starting to think cena will never go heel.

They know that rock as heel will still 100% sell and rock will still be cheered by all his current fans but what it will do is make cena's fans even more loyal to cena.

They don't need to book anyone as a heel or a face. Keep them both tweener. To the hardcore Rock is face and Cena is heel, to the kids Cena is face and Rock is heel.

Simple.

Whilst I agree with this, I was just saying what I think WWE will do, or rather attempt to do.

If it's an elimination tag I reckon the WWE will have Rock and Cena arguing over who gets the final pinfall. Can see Rock going for the People's Elbow and Cena hitting The Rock to tag himself in, or vice versa. Have them argue over it, hit a couple of signature moves or have security separate them and build the animosity up for the rest of the feud.

Whatever they do, I can't help but feel it'll disappoint the more hardcore fans like us.
