The wrestling sites have picked up on the issue I posted about a couple of days ago in regards to next weeks Raw.

WWE has been offered an alternative venue to hold the May 25th edition of Monday Night Raw. The new venue offered is the Denver Coliseum, which is a smaller venue. WWE may decline the offer, as the building will likely not be able to hold fans who have already purchased advanced tickets. Ticketmaster issued the following statement this today regarding the show: The Denver Nuggets are scheduled to play on Monday May 25th @ 7:00pm. The Pepsi Center is working closely with the WWE and hopes to have information regarding the WWE event at the Pepsi Center soon. Both the Pepsi Center and TM will post information as soon as it is available. NO REFUNDS are available at this time.

What a monumental balls up.

Looks like a new/replacement WWE PPV could be on the horizon:

WWE sent out emails to some members of the "WWE Universe" today. In this email, the fans were asked to respond to questions to help name a future WWE event, which would feature submission matches for all main event matches on the show. Here were the listed potential names for the event:

  • WWE Total Submission
  • WWE Submission Sunday
  • WWE Breaking Point
  • WWE Submit & Quit

Local advertisements on Sky Sports is advertising Shawn Michaels for tonight's edition of Raw. That's likely a mistake.

What a load of rubbish.

That's the only one there which doesn't sound completely gooseberry fool.

And now, Snickers Cruncher presents...

WWE TAP-OUT

You know it makes sense.

Snickers Cruncher.

Tap-Out makes it sounds like a wannabe UFC event (which it's already coming across as).

WWE Submit & Quit

I look forward to the followup, WWE Pin & Win.
