I'm sick of this "deserving" gooseberry fool. Read about it on Twitter, on wrestling boards and now grcade. :(

What exactly are they deserving of? I mean, they get paid half a million pounds a year (mid-carders), so what else do you think they should get? An automatic push? Christian is average at best... he's good in the ring and a solid performer but this shtick that I read all across the internet that these guys are "deserving of a title run" annoys me. Why can't guys go in, give a solid performance week in, week out and collect their very respective-for-what-they-do pay.

It's the... Mr Perfect theory.

He was on the cusp of reaching the next level in 2005.

They need to bring back Tomko as his right hand man!

Spot on. The world title isn't a gold watch; it's something very valuable that elevates certain wrestlers and creates storylines. Christian is great, but if I were starting a promotion, I'd take Miz over him any day. Miz isn't as good in the ring, but he's got his best days ahead of him and could be a big, big star.

Although that said, Christian and Edge feuding over the Smackdown title for a few months would be a nice feud. The WWE has horribly mismanaged Christian since his return, and we all know who we can thank for the beginnings of that.

Matt Hardy. Seriously, he convinced management that Christian shouldn't be rewarded for jumping to TNA by having a hot storyline :(

I'm not obsessed with MH, by the way. Or maybe I am.

In addition, if I were Christian i'd be calling my good friend Matt Hardy up and telling him to leave my name the strawberry float out of any future interviews he's doing.

I'm a huge fan of Christian, and I believe he deserves a title run simply by virtue of the fact that he's awesome. Him and Edge are the best things about a wrestling world without Jericho or MAIVIA(REPRESEEENT). God I wish E+C would get back together.

The WWE & World Heavyweight belts are no longer drawing powers, and no longer mean you're the number 1 guy. When you no longer have those two factors, all are they are fake, meaningless belts.

Look at someone like Jack Swagger. He's won the ECW & World Heavyweight titles, & is still in the same exact position as before he won them. He's a midcarder having great matches. It's people like him, Kofi Kingston, Christian & Dolph Ziggler that gives SmackDown its one brilliant match per week.

I really enjoyed the Kofi/Kaval v Swagger/Dolph tag match on Smackdown this week. Worth checking out imo. This Edge/Kane storyline SUCKS though. If you asked someone who hadn't watched wrestling in a while who the bad guy was I'm convinced they'd say it was Edge. Horrid, horrid booking.

Wrestling Observer wrote:TNA iMPACT! & WWE SmackDown are about even in the Males 35-49 ratings demographic (around a 1.1). During some weeks, the differential in total audience is about 800,000 to 1.1 million.

SmackDown is continuing to draw badly on the road, & at the December 14 TV taping in Lafayette, they had a really bad crowd, as right on camera view there were a lot of empty seats. Usually they move fans so at least the hard camera shot always shows full seats. Much of the arena was tarped off.

I wonder if it'll reach the stage where they won't be able to tour SD separately at all. Another draft is usually another 4 months away, and it's not like they can do much there (nor would it really mean anything anyway).

Smackdown lacks a major star really, or a new star. Rey/Taker's been on there for years and years, and with them always injured Smackdown has no-one, I'd rather pay for Raw then Smackdown just to see Edge and Kane :fp: Cena to Smackdown would instantly boost the ratings. Raw doesn't need Cena.

I was confused when I read the GRAPL matches, and then I remembered that WWE hasn't announced the change yet :fp:

Alberto Del Rio/Rey and Edge/Kane have become one big TLC match.

The WWE haven't explained the rules to either the Chairs match or the tag team tables match. Does 1 Diva have to go through a table, or both?
