If anyone has been thinking about signing up to F4W then now is the time. All this week they have interviews with ex-WWE writers. The ones so far have been good.

Because of the size of this thread though, we're heading up the front page of Google for WrestleMania:

It still has its own sort of season that culminates in 'Mania though. Or it should if the WWE knew what they were doing.

Very strange in town today, looking at the DVD section in Poundland (as I always do, very very occasionally something worthwhile shows up there), and it just seemed surreal to see on the shelves for the first time in years Hard Knocks: The Robin Ethics story.

Would have bought it if I didn't still have a slightly uneasy feeling watching Benoit footage. I was only thinking about the impact of the post-Benoit WWE policy the other afternoon watching the Jericho DVD where he tells only half the story to why he made his return in 2007, because that whole situation obviously played a massive part in it.

2007 - The last time I liked Randy Orton when he had awesome theme music.

I haven't watched a Benoit match since. Kinda takes the fun out of it with that playing in your mind the entire time.

Georgia Dome looks a great venue for WM.

I have no problem watching Benoit matches. You just need to remember the matches he put on and not the shithead he became.

Ah, but GRcade is still number 1 for 'Katherine Jenkins nude' though. 8-)

I'm sure proto would make a great wrestling thread but kk is already great at it. He also makes great contributions to the thread with links, videos and random pieces of history. I also don't think the thread needs restarting every year.

Pretty much this.

What he did and what triggered those events will always be tragic, but it wont stop me appreciating the great matches he put on before that fateful day.

The whole situation and discovery of how badly damaged his brain was has pushed the industry forward in regards to the health and welfare of individual talents. Just a shame it took such an atrocity to shake things up to that extent.

Nah, it's all about 2008. Birth of 'Rest-Hold Randy', the greatest wrestler the world has ever seen.
