I put on WMXXII a few days ago, and in that Mark Henry went against Taker. Wasn't a great match or anything, but watching it I sort of thought 'Henry has a decent sort of role in WWE'.

I know nobody really likes him, but I think you need people of his build around. He makes me think of people like Earthquake and Andre the Giant, not great wrestlers but they are needed in the salad of professional wrestling.

Agreed. He's there to put people over, every often he has to build himself up though so defeating him actually means something.

But he shouldn't be anywhere near the title picture. I'm looking forward to potential Christian/Sheamus and Christian/Orton matches. Not much else on Smackdown interests me.

So Extreme Rules was last night. An ok show I thought, would have been better if it hadn't been dragged down by some of the results. In-ring action was good though and it had a bit of everything. Only stinker was the whipping match but thankfully it was kept short.
