The only problem with that is Colt Cabana can never be booed, but you can never cheer Chris Hero - it'd be too weird

The majority of the WWE viewing audience aren't going to know who these people are, so a repackaging job would be easy enough if the WWE so wished.

Agreed.

I disagree. I think WWE could be onto something here by the much more realistic and modern feuds of late (well the last month). They can use the internet to make these feuds much more interesting and not so dependant on TV schedules.

For example, I haven't really been that into wrestling since the end of the attitude era as I have other things to do and can't commit to watching whatever show Sky 1 put out on a Saturday morning, or recording Raw and watching it the next night. I tend to get most of my wrestling fix from the internet through watching clips of the parts I am interested in. I think the landscape is changing in terms of how fans want to watch the show and WWE needs to (and seems to be) moving with the times a bit now and modernising.

To be fair, they were quick to use the internet when the initial boom happened. I just think they could, and are beginning, to use it to sell their product more effectively.

What this programme would probably look like were it still around:

Great Saturday morning programming! Was also the only place to watch SmackDown for a few months, too.

I say it should have been for a live show because, well, it's better live and because I wonder how much of the WWE 'universe' is keeping track of promos like these. I wouldn't have known about it if I didn't frequent GRcade.

It's not so much the audiance then the performers - Both guys when tried their alternative styles, could not pull it off imo - Maybe if they all did move to WWE they'd have better guys helping them out, but I can't see them pulling it off (then again maybe they won't, have Cabana as the comical releaf and CC and Hero as the enforcer guys to be serious with Punk as the voice)

However, as Hero is right up there with Punk as one of my all time favs, I wouldn't care as long as he got Tv time because he is one of the all time best imo

Well i'm in spain and you've guessed it, my rents have the net at the villa so i can take part in grapl this weekend :D

Also just reading back through the last few pages, is the general consensus now that Punk is actually staying and that a few of his ROH buddies are signing too? Although is it thought to be a storyline that he will disappear for a few weeks or something with the title before coming back?

Punk mouthing "oh my strawberry floating god" was brilliant and the crotch shot from the rafters

I love their 60 min iron man match from WXW, shame there are no clip on youtube (Defifnatly recommend this match to everyone)

Also Punk Vs Delirious trilogy is incredible. Delirious is vastly underrated imo (head trainer at RoH btw)

 Yeah, no lip reading skills required for some of those spots. Amazing stuff indeed.

Punk's always been a wrestler that has impressed me even when reading about read about his matches but I've never actually seen any of his stuff outside of WWE.

Are there any good 'Best of...' DVDs kicking about?

Money in the bank is this Sunday. The main event looks an open and shut case but is it all an elaborate swerve? Will Punk win the title only to lose it immeadietly to the MITB winner? Anything could happen.

DQ/Ref Stip?

I assume this is a Smackdown spoiler?

Nope, it was being advertised all through Raw and all over the WWE site as well - Also it's in part of the promotional video for MitB

So quick to complain :fp:

Also the last question is only worth one point so if you put down raw and smackdown then both must be cashed in for the point. You're better off just sticking with one.
