Orton needs to go for the IC title... and lose.

Would give the title a "push" if you will...

So I've just started watching Vengeance, and I must say they're really determined to get HUNTOOOOOOOOORRRRRR over, not even ten seconds in and he's been alluded to as 'the righteous man'. :fp:

I love how King mentioned about the Brock Lesnar/Big Show incident....but said it in a 'err..i don't know if i should bring this up' sort of voice. Booker and Cole did kind of akcokledge it by saying difference between that incident(and one King was involved in) was that those marked the end of the show and stuff. Yet like 10 minutes later Cole proclaims "we witnessed something tonight that we've NEVER seen before" :fp: WWE and their love of re-writing history.

The way the match ended was exactly what i meant when i said i can't see Cena losing that match 'clean'. Having lose after getting crushed by those metal thingy's would have been the perfect way to end it. It would've left Del Rio looking strong, vicious and of course regaining his title but again things had to descend into the usual 'outside interference is the only way Cena can lose' bit.

I have no problem with them repeating stunts after a while. It is 7 maybe 8 years since it last happened? I have no problem with that. The vast majority of the younger fans haven't seen that before. There isn't really much they can do in the way of stunts that hasn't been done before.

strawberry float the overruling, that's the sort of comedy I'd love to see in wrestling.

Then again, I think Hornswoggle should be in a wheelchair tonight in the background without anyone drawing attention to it. So perhaps I'm not a good judge of comedy in wrestling :shifty:

Why, what's happened to him?

The original ring collapse (rated the number 2 best moment ever on WWE's own Best of SmackDown DVD)

I love Tazz's reaction during the Brock/Big Show incident, literally summed up my thoughts exactly at the time. Teddy Long asking whether both Big SHow and Henry could fit on the cart thingy at the same time

What was the number 1 Smackdown moment? My mind's drawing a blank at the moment, the only thing i could think of is maybe the first Smackdown after 9/11 where the wrestlers all gathered together and Vince addressed everyone in the ring?

So, when was the last time Cena lost clean? Also, surely the Kevin Nash interference would have disqualified the match? Or is that being swept aside because Trips wasn't the legal man?

You'd think they would have learned by now that the "bigger" wrestlers shouldn't superplex each other from the top rope.

I think Jack Tunney should make a ruling tonight on RAW stating that moves off the top rope by 400 pound + wrestlers be outlawed.

I don't understand all this stuff about people not being happy that the top heel has to cheat to win and that the top face can never lose cleanly.

Unless its part of a storyline or a change in their character thats just the way its always been with wrestlers that hold that position in WWE/WWF. There are sometimes exceptions but it is rare and always has been.

I might need to see it again to be sure, but from what i remember Truth/HHH were fighting near the time-keeper and Nash clocked HHH with a punch or something. I'm guessing while that was happening the ref was watching Punk and Miz while they were in the ring. I can't remember where the ref was though when they hit their double finisher on Punk though.

Speaking of Punk, i'm slowly starting to care less about him at the moment. It seems like HHH has well and truly taken all the attention away from him. We don't even get to hear him talk on the mic for that long these days either.
