I read somewhere there's rumours (as always) that either Brock Lesnar, Batista or Lita (??) might show up tonight and announce a return match for 'Mania next year.

I'm expecting Jericho to come out and say that he's failed and so is leaving again, possibly for good this time.

Rock will likely come out, gloat about beating Cena before being put through a table or something by Cena - Rock will then disappear to make his films for a while before returning to get revenge in a few months. I'd assume Rock/Cena 2 will happen as I can't see who else on the roster would be worth him facing at this point - a heel turn from Cena followed by a campaign for a rematch would work nicely. Maybe have Rock refusing saying he's not got anything to prove only for heel Cena to keep pushing till he eventually gives in.

My hope for tonight is Punk vs Austin announced for 'Mania next year. Austin comes out, stunners Jericho then goes to shake Punks hand then stunners him and gives him a beer bath.

My random thoughts on last night.

Hour 1:
- Total wipe out. After the first 60 minutes I was left feeling totally disillusioned by what I watching. Don't start me on the Bryan thing .... I think it can be best summed up by saying that Kelly Kelly having the stand out spot of the first 60 minutes says it all.
- COMBO BREAKER by Kane for my accumulator btw .... Orton is now my most hated wrsetler.

Undertaker vs HHH
- Brilliant .. just brilliant. MOTN in my opinion. There were perhaps just a few too many near finishes ... ahhh I'm being picky. Fantastic stuff.

Jericho vs Punk
- Suffered for where it was placed in the card but I thought they did well.
- The ending was very cool and I would like to see Jericho go away again for while .. have him come back as a surprise to cost Punk the title to reignite the fued for Summerslam or something.

Rock vs Cena
- I said this in the chatbox last night 'In all the hype we forgot that neither are the greatest wrestlers'. That is perhaps a tad harsh but lets be honest both have limited move sets.
- The match itself was good but a little slow paced for my liking.
- The right guy won in my opinion. Sent the crowd home happy and created a Wrsetlemania moment.

... overall 7/10 ... not the best four hours ... far from it. The lows were extreme lows ... but the highs were very good highs.

Minor points
- They shouldn't have music acts before the entrances ever again.
- Brodus was kinda unnecessary but I hear it went down well in the arena so fine.
- JR <3 <3
- Cole did well last night. People aren't complaining about him and he played nicely with JR when he came in.
- Team Johnny <3 <3 ... did anyone actually see Otunga in the match!???

Gonna have to disagree with you there Jim. Rock is a great wrestler and it's got nothing to do with how many moves he performs, it's a case of doing the right moves at the right time. If anyone gets people caring about them and their matches then they're doing something right regardless of how many moves they do. Look at someone like Stone Cold who probably only used about 6 moves regularly at his peak, yet consistently had great matches.

Gonna have to disagree with you there Jim. Rock is a great wrestler and it's got nothing to do with how many moves he performs, it's a case of doing the right moves at the right time. If anyone gets people caring about them and their matches then they're doing something right regardless of how many moves they do. Look at someone like Stone Cold who probably only used about 6 moves regularly at his peak, yet consistently had great matches.

You can either be a great story teller ala the HIAC last night or a good athlete (some both!!) Cena and Rock went the story route last night and I felt it was just a little predictable. It was a good match ... Just not great IMO
