I watched Impact last night. Was it a good/bad episode or par for the course?

I thought it was okay, nothing special.

Pretty much, not the best but no as bad as it has been in past

Although I agree with the sentiment of it... the thread title's outrageous. At least give people a chance to watch for themselves.

Cena already spoiled the result last Monday.

It should be changed to something which makes people think that there is a shock result.

Edit: Nice.

Why are the commentators always so surprised when Cena lifts up Show for an AA or something? It's not like he hasn't done it a thousand times before.

I didn't even notice I posted that in the Football Thread. :slol:

Impact was pretty good last night. Not as good as it has been previously, though.

Thank god for netflix and the ability to watch good stuff from when it wasn't so gooseberry fool.

Punk wins it again. DB is really never getting a chance again is he. Better he may be but Punk is Vinnies man now it seems.

I think they are pretty evenly matched in terms of in ring talent. However, I'm kind of glad Bryan isn't getting the title as I could see him turning face and becoming the same stale babyface everyone else seems to be at the moment.

I mean, thats what has pretty much happened to Punk. As soon as he became the top face (after Cena) he had to scale back his promos and become the same goofy character that Cena and Orton have been playing for years.

I believe that the problem with WWE at the moment is the management and lack of corporate ambition and not the talent.

I know you're disappointed inDB losing, fishy, but Punk (and in particular, his title reign) really is one of the few shreds of credibility WWE has left. I still think we'll see DB hold the WWE title at some stage.

Seth Mates had a decent idea on Twitter... hoping for a Cena cash-in at Raw1000 with Rock interfering and Punk retaining. I don't want to see a 103-time champion cash-in a briefcase to win a title.

I really hate the former champions idea they utilised for the Raw mitb match. For me, the match was always about opportunity for those who haven't been on top yet. The outcome was always going to be a let down - even more so with Cena winning.

I agree Proto. MITB was always a good way to quickly elevate a guy and if their title run wasn't working it was an easy way to be able to explain it (opportunist win etc) when they switch it back like they did with Swagger.

Yeah definitely agree with this...still don't think the Raw bank match - or the Smackdown one for that matter - needed this sort of stipulation. Obviously didn't match the excitement and drama of last years but I actually enjoyed the PPV for the most part :shifty: Glad Ziggler won the Smackdown MitB. I have to say the best parts of the Punk and Bryan match were when AJ wasn't involved.. I don't know what's going to happen next for D. Bryan but I'm actually looking forward to a Cena/Punk feud. I thought Jericho was awesome in the Raw MitB match, I was hoping he'd get the win. It obviously didn't have the high flying moves due to how much they limited themselves with this 'only former champs rule' but i thought it was pretty enjoyable. The monster heel role suits Big Show far more than the happy, smiley face Big Show.

The announcers acting like they'd never seen the giant ladder before was something. I'm sure nobody takes what they say seriously anyway, especially Michael Cole, but their credibility is just zilch.

I only just notied that the songs used for Review-A-Wai at the start actually have a purpose and not just random songs :slol:

Quality job with the gifs as always Jeffrey :datass: First somewhat positive thing i've said about Tensai but I did love the way he just flung Ziggler into and over the announcers table

Despite the awfulness of last week I'm actually looking forward to Raw slightly tonight. Curious to see if Cena and Punk have a mini showdown of sorts and where next for D. Bryan. Will he still be floating around the title scene after another Punk defeat. I hope Jericho gets put in a decent feud in time for SS but strawberry float knows who that could be with though.

yeah that's a fair point. The writing and management of the talent really stink at the mo.

There is that. At least the guy who keeps beating him is credible.
