Don't normally watch TNA, but I'll give Bound for Glory a whirl.

Isn't this supposed to be the big feud of the year? And it's going on 3rd?

Joey Ryan comes out, Tazz's first comment is "I didn't think that this guy has it, so I didn't vote him in." :fp:

Now into talking to myself territory.

"This is awkward" chant was hilarious. Also funny is Meltzer calling the match Bully/Sting vs. Aces & 0.8s.

My thoughts on BFG results:

Actually don't mind Devon being one of the Aces and Eights. Nobody predicted that, TNA did a reasonably good job of making it look like he was gone and it will be interesting to see how he does in the heel role and how Bubba presumably does as a face. Just a shame Aces and Eights hasn't really worked in general.

Not sure about Hardy being champion. He is only half the finished article. He is ok to good technically but is beyond useless on the mic. I think they need to get the belt back on Roode though and build his credibility back up because he was at his best during his title run and nobody could touch him in terms of the heel character.

Oh and big mistake putting the titles on Chavo and Hernandez. :fp:

I was just looking at some photographs. I see they went with the old WCW/ECW ramp connected to the ring set-up. The set looks like the previous WWE HD one...except shrunk.

Overall non-spoiler thoughts: Apart from "This is Awkward" chant, the TNA crowd comes off as such desperate marks. Chanting "This is Awesome" and "Holy gooseberry fool" at almost anything. Matches were okay, but I'd only really go out of my way for the Triple Tag Match and Roode/Storm, unless I'm forgetting something. For their biggest show, everything felt pretty flat. Didn't convince me to come back and keep watching Impact.

I think this stems from Jim's "I promise to leave the thread if Lesnar beats Trips" bet?

Choc Jim's retirement about as convincing as a Kevin Nash one.

tjhagen_mhs wrote:I went to Samurai Comics in Phoenix for the "advertised" appearance of Kaz and Daniels. I brought my kids thinking there might be at least a small line of people - but there was basically no one there. Kaz/Daniels were sitting at a table with their personal WTTCOTW shirts and the Impact Wrestling issued autograph photos. We asked for a photo with my kids and that was $5. Then they were pushing their shirts for $25 each and the autographed photos were $10 a piece. I also went to the RVD signing back in July and they weren't charging for anything then. I guess today wasn't a "sanctioned" TNA event/appearance. We stayed for about an hour just hanging out in the comic store and in that time they may have seen 5 guests/their families. Overall disappointed. Looking forward to tomorrow's Fan Interaction.

Could have been worse...

Very surprised with the result for this round. Was a complete shot in the dark as I haven't a clue about TNA these days.

I had a good run at the top but several poor scores have finally caught up with me.
