In Quick Results from WWE Survivor Series...

YouTube Pre-show: Santino Marella and Zack Ryder defeated 3MB when Ryder hit the Rough Ryder on Heath Slater for the pin.

Match 1: In a Survivor Series Elimination Match, the team of Brodus Clay, Justin Gabriel, Tyson Kidd, Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio defeated Tensai, The Prime Time Players, and Primo and Epico.

Aksana, wearing a blond wig, attempted to attack Kaitlyn backstage, but Kaitlyn pulled off the wig. Eve Torres showed up and pretended not to know what was going on. Kaitlyn pushed Eve down.

Match 2: Eve Torres pinned Kaitlyn following a Neckbreaker to retain the Divas Championship.

Match 3: Antonio Cesaro beat R-Truth with the Neutralizer to retain the United States Championship.

AJ Lee came out for the RAW segment on a $55 Pay Per View. Vickie Guerrero then followed. AJ had the truck put up a load of ridiculous photos of Vickie on the Titan Tron, such as eating BBQ sauce stood next to Jim Ross. Vickie threatened to slap AJ, but AJ said that if Vickie put a hand on her, the Board of Directors said that she'd lose her job as Interim Something or Other of RAW. Tamina Snuka then arrived out of nowhere and gave AJ the Samoan Drop and Superfly Splash. Vickie laughed as AJ was laid out.

Match 4: Big Show retained the World Heavyweight Championship when Sheamus defeated Big Show via Disqualification following a reversal of the original pinfall decision. The finish saw Sheamus going for the Brogue Kick, with Show pulling referee Scott Armstrong in the way and Sheamus nailing Armstrong. With WWE officials and Sheamus checking Armstrong, Show knocked out Sheamus with a punch and one of the referees counted the pin. Another referee then reversed the decision and ruled Sheamus the winner via DQ.

After the match, Sheamus went nuts, attacking Big Show with multiple chair shots, before finally laying him out with the Brogue kick. Crowd were chanting for Dolph Ziggler to cash in.

Match 5: Team Ziggler defeated Team Foley when Ziggler rolled up Orton following a Superkick.

Main Event: CM Punk pinned John Cena following outside interference to retain the WWE Championship in a Triple Threat Match that also involved Ryback. Ryback was about to pin Cena following Shell Shock when Roman Reigns, Dean Ambose and Seth Rollins of NXT ran in and attacked Ryback, putting him through the Spanish announce table.

JBL was far the best thing on the show - he ripped Cole apart and had some great back and forth with the King

Oh boy, yet another NWO/Nexus revival/spin off. While Seth Rollins is great & Ambrose is controversial, its been done far too many times in the WWE. At least TNA are keeping it interesting & have a fairly tangible plot thread with the Aces & 8s. Perfect slow-build too, so far.

Those are not things I expect to see with whatever this new WWE group is, as usual.

I have a feeling this is going to be more Evolution than Nexus to be fair.

Edit: If Punk holds the title until Rumble then I make that 434 days with the belt. Quite impressive that WWE have been able to do that in this day and age (assuming they don't switch it around at TLC). Even so he should be set to beat Cena's 2006 record to take the longest reign since 1988.

Yeah I loved the commentary during the PPV, some of their banter and stuff actually had me laughing out loud.

I have to admit, I thought it was a pretty decent PPV. Even the Divas match was decent. I enjoyed the main SS match and the two title matches.
After his post match beat down I must admit I was just waiting for Dolph Ziggler's music to his  Punk/Cena/Ryback actually worked well together. He took punishment while still retaining his explosive style and of course there was an interesting twist at the end there. One thing I did find odd though was the way Cena almost stormed away from the ring. No "wtf just happened reaction" or look of disappointment he just sort of upped and left almost like he didn't care that he'd just lost..

Sounds like it wad a good ppv in the end although I'm not going to get to watch it till later. Not sure what they are bothering with this Preshow thing as no one is watching. Surely they could do it on the ppv channel though? Or would it possibly cost them too much. I remember when a lot of the time the first 10 mins of ppv s would be free as a way of giving u a taster and then hoping u pay for the rest of the show.

I knew I was going to do awfully in grapl but I just couldn't put my fingers on what I needed to change. Glad they haven't panicked and given the title back to sheamus.

Well none of us could have got full marks this month because WWE changed the Pre-Show match back to what it was originally announced as earlier in the week.

So for anyone who saw Impact last night, you will know that Magnus was taken out by Aces & Eights.

Turns out he was taken out as he needs time off for Panto season in England. When Panto is more profitable than being in TNA, you know the under card are getting paid diddly squat.

He is there are adverts all over the city for it. They mention his spell in Gladiators above his role in TNA.

My bad Rog, I thought just stating what you were changing it to was sufficient. My mistake.
