How often do we get to say a Wrestlemania main event was booked to perfection?

A highly captivating conclusion, didn't know where it was going to go. And considering it was booked by Vince only, he pulled it off.

I think that would have been a great mania if you cut ten minutes off the rock segment and move some matches around.

I'll hold my hands up and admit Brock and Reigns actually put on an entertaining brawl and the cash in was pretty much the icing on the cake. Awesome stuff all round in that match :datass: As soon as they said the champ would be NBC tomorrow you kinda had a feeling that probably meant Brock wouldn't be leaving as champ. I'm hoping he works Extreme Rules next month. Triple threat when them three would be brilliant.

The second that NBC thing was mentioned I knew there was no way Brock would be champ.

If Wrestlemania being over means we have to restart the thread at least let us get to 100k posts.

The one downside of that match was that it really showcased how limited Reigns' moveset is

I think Brock has done Extreme Rules for the past few years so I guess that's when his rematch will be. Wouldn't be surprised to see that be a triple threat.

If they hare having Cena not fight in the main event at Wrestlemania then they really need to stop putting him in matches with emerging stars and beating them for no reason other than because. Him beating Wyatt last year grinded his momentum to a halt and he's never recovered from that. I hope the same doesn't happen to Rusev as the finish to that match was pretty silly, especially since he went into that match unbeaten in over a year. The sooner Vince strawberry floats off, the better.

I'm about 15 minutes behind everyone else because of the amount of pauses I got using the network stream :x

That main event was just :datass:

I think Brock might win the title back in his rematch,Rollins and Reigns can feud while he's gone.

No need for Brock to win it back so soon only to disappear until Summerslam, the Reigns/Rollins feud will benefit from having the title.

Voice is shot from shouting - loved every second of that. The curb stomp/RKO was just insane - nobody in the stadium could believe what they saw. What a show - being there it genuinely felt like one of the best ever.

Anyway, nice little anecdote for you: went back to the talent hotel and we were watching the talent arrive from the arena. When Lana and Rusev came in, John Cena's dad - who was hanging around waiting for John, I guess - went up to Rusev and they had the biggest hug. He then shook Lana's hand and then he and Rusev were chatting for about a minute. Rusev had the biggest, most genuine grin you've ever seen - he looked like the happiest man on earth. Really lovely to see, that.

Of all the 'RKOs from outta nowhere' that has to be the very best of them. The amount of height Rollins got from the curbstomp prior to it was incredible.

I'll give credit to Reigns and Lesnar, they didn't hold anything back. Reigns took a serious beating. That clothesline off the apron looked like it really could've ended horribly for Reigns.

Reigns' face before the slap hits

Also Pell how were things in terms of fan reactions actually live? Who got the biggest pops and boos? Were fans into the main event from start to finish? (like no random chants?)

Still can't get over how well they (or Vince on his own if the rumours were true) booked that main event. Also, just to reiterate, I called it all last week :datass:

Has to go down as one of the best Wrestlemania's of all time.

Who would've thought going into it that Reigns v Lesnar would be the match of the night. Simply outstanding. The pacing, the level of work, the finish... I really can't find fault with it. Was worried we might see Reigns kill off both Lesnar and Rollins' MITB shot when he cashed in mid-match, but glad it ended the way it did. I stood up and applauded the TV screen.

The finish to Rollins v Orton, wow. A genuinely amazing spot. Didn't see it coming either. Another great match, but is it any surprise given the participants? Orton looked as solid as always and got the win before Rollins came out to commit the 'heist'.

Thought Rusev looked great but always knew they were going to go with Cena. It'll be very exciting to see who Bryan and Cena drop the IS and US belts to.

Didn't think that much of Sting v Triple H. I honestly can't fathom why they would have HHH win either unless he's going into a big match at Extreme Rules. Sting did look decent enough and I felt he was less gassed than Taker. I still can't decide if I loved HHH's entrance or thought it was completely lame.

Really looking forward to the Reign of Rollins. Think he has everything it needs to go on to hold it til Summerslam at least.
