I wouldn't blame him if he's forgotten there's even a PPV this Sunday. The WWE did such a lousy job selling it this past Monday.

Some UK ratings news. I haven't seen them myself, so I presume they're courtesy of BARB.

(For the week ending 12th July) RAW pulled in 39,000 Live & a further 40,000 for the Thursday night replay to total 79,000 viewers. SmackDown did 33,000 on Friday & 38,000 Saturday, & finally TNA iMPACT! on Bravo did 58,000 in total.

And finally, some much needed good news...

According to reports, there are said to be plans for Shawn Michaels to return to WWE at SummerSlam in a few weeks on August 23. He had initially talked about taking an extended amount of time off from WWE through 2009 and returning in 2010 to build to a new program for WrestleMania 26. Michaels has been taking time off from WWE since WrestleMania 25 in early April following his match with The Undertaker, who is expected to return to WWE in September unless plans change. Although plans and ideas can change between now and August, the plan right now is for Michaels to return at SummerSlam, while Triple H vs. John Cena has been scheduled as a possible match as well.

Night of Champions is this Sunday so it's time for the GRAPL predictions. But first a recap of the rules. I suggest some of you read this as every question I was asked during the bonus round was already addressed in here. Never be afraid to ask a question but don't be a lazy sod either.

GRAPL is simple to play. The Friday before every WWE PPV this year I'll post up a prediction sheet. You enter your predictions and post the sheet. For every one you get right you earn points and points are tallied up on the leaderboard. If you are top of the leaderboard after Wrestlemania next year then you win!

Same as last year you can change your predictions as many times as you like up till the 11pm Sunday deadline. Anyone found to be editing posts after that will be disqualified from that PPV. Any changes to the PPV after I've posted the prediction form will be ignored and the predictions for that match will be null and void. You can enter as little PPV's as you like.

Here is the leaderboard as it stands (in pauper text )

Zellery - 47
Balloon Sod - 45
Brick Tamlin - 44
Corazon - 42
sw26 - 42
Adam Pollard - 42
Mockmaster - 41

I'll fill it in once I've watched Smackdown.

A decision has been made within TNA to do almost all of the Pay Per View events out of the Impact Zone in Orlando, Fl as a cost saver. The rest of the company's PPV events in 2009 in August, September, November and December will be held in Orlando with the exception of Bound For Glory on October 18 which will be held in Irvine, CA. The company will also be returning to taping television once every two weeks in August again after trying out a different formula in June and July taping four weeks of TV over the course of three days. As expected, taping that much TV and spreading it out over four weeks caused many continuity problems.

Last Saturday's live event in Winston-Salem, North Carolina drew 650 fans

TNA seems to be going backwards, never mind about forwards. And the problems about continuity are spot on. As I mentioned here, if it wasn't Borash's clothes changing when all he'd done was supposedly walk down a hallway, it was something else - such as interview segments playing out of sink.

It's a bit of a luckbox question though. It could be anyone. Could even be Chris Masters. I went for the straightforward option. Hopefully Summerslam will throw up a few curveballs.

[color=#008000]To be fair, you could do a pretty damn good 2 disc Morrison set: there's loads of great tag matches when he was part of MNM, he had some awesome matches with Jeff for the IC belt, the brilliant ECW title fued with Punk, his tag team with The Miz, and then pretty much all of his matches since being drafted to Smackdown. Especially the AWESOME match with Jericho from Superstars.

And the segment from the other week with the shitty comedy about Ziggler coming out of the closet... that was amazing, simply for the "what's going on back there? Sounds like a badger or something... scratchin'"

I'd buy a DVD of the Friday Night Delight, the feud between him and Punk was one of the best WWE have done for ages and I'd love to see them do it again sometime in the future with the roles reversed.

Well they've certainly been building up to it, though I worry it will get lost in the shuffle a bit for Summerslam: if the Raw main is Cena v HHH as expected, that will obviously be the major focal point of the build, and there would probably be another big marquee Raw match, leaving a SD main event chucked in halfway through the card (as usual)

TNA iMPACT yesterday did a 1.3 - so Bobby Lashley & Taz made a modicum of difference.

Bought that Royal Rumble 99 & 2000 Tagged Classic from Silvervision.co.uk. Loved the I Quit match between Rock and Mankind, and Teddy Long strawberry floating up during the Gangrel/X-Pac match. :fp:
