I have tried it a whole bunch of times, technically I have completed it twice. I used to write a lot, I won't be trying it this year though, basically I just have too much other stuff on the go... Best of luck to all of you who do though.

yeah i got a book published at the end of august

Didn't follow up on this sorry. This 'Really?' was more about the rules of self promotion. I don't think there are any are there? I know I've hawked the game I'm working on here, and various people have posted art projects and the like!

And congrats on the book, that's strawberry floating brilliant!

its about 351 pages long and its five stories about a group of friends with elemental powers who live on a floating island and who are summoned to world made of video game data and protect it from monsters

target audience is pre teens but i hope like other things aimed at younger people all sorts will enjoy it

That certainly sounds a good read. It sounds inspired by Power Rangers and other similar shows.

Also, I'd written it before but mustn't have hit submit - I'm practically a walking advertisement banner, and I've had no issues. I think so long as you're not trying to pester people into buying into your brand, you're good.

power rangers is one of the few things that didnt inspire it

i wouldnt try a force people to buy (not on purpose anyway) just spread the word a little

tron, wreck it ralph and digimon the whole idea of a world within computers and what have you, and the main characters are based on my friends
