I believe it is still just lay upside down in the bush but I will go and check up on it after I authorise my own lunch. Working at the minute.

I don't think this thread title was clickbaity enough.

Disrespecting the memory of the dead for page views is the true spirit of clickbait.

Great, now we’ll have 5 pages of Scottish people telling us that they’ve “never even seen a deep fried Mars Bar”. :dread:

Are you not giving it a proper burial? Just chucking it in the hedge?

What a monster

Did it die because you got it drunk and then put makeup on it?

 every time

I assure you my nails are manicured with Tweezerman scissors and a glass file, and moisturised with cuticle cream (Sally Hansen). They are cut that way on my right hand and cut down short on the left hand because I've been playing classical Spanish/flamenco guitar for 22 years.

I only cut mine to 1mm from the fingertip though. They're white and incredibly strong but supple, not dry or discoloured. It's literally impossible to play at speed without properly cared for fingernails.

Plectrums are for pussies.

I checked in the bush again this morning and it's disappeared. So the cat or something got it, at least this time it was already dead.

Kidnap their children and put them in a dark box?

The box of death.

I was going to post that you had killed it and made up some BS about it dieing. But clearly it wasn't dead, woke from its slumber and was taken home by its parents whilst you weren't looking. Who said there are no happy endings in life?

It was really, really dead looking.

I know you're joking but I guess it's the faintest possibility. I went out there when it was dark as noted previously and it was still upside down and very much dead.

I wish I knew what happened to it in the end, I was just expecting it to rot, but nope something has made some use of it and I made that end less horrible. My work is done.

I kind of like the idea that a zombie bird is living in my outback , it has actually happened to me once before with a lizard - it did still feel a bit warm and the last thing to stop working in birds/lizards is the eyes/brain - I didn't check for pupil dilation.

Man I'm writing weirdly because I'm back in work mode after the weekend..
