I grew up with a pub then a nightclub on one side which made noise till all hours on a Saturday, and a Greek Orthodox church that started the bells really early on a Sunday. My next door neighbour had mental health issues, and would go through phases of blasting garage music, singing along, and screaming at the bloke du jour. You learn to tune things out...

Going back to Amazon: I bought a freeview box last week, and despite me buying from Amazon, for the next fortnight I'll get emails asking "are you looking for a freeview box are you looking for a freeview box are you looking for a freeview box are you looking for a freeview box are you looking for a freeview box?"

Getting the same scam email several times a day just from a different person. I get several emails every day stating someone has transferred 3543.00 US dollars to me via PayPal. Just give it a rest, I didn't fall for it the first time what makes you think I'll fall for it the next 30 times?

Exactly, a scammer would use a rounded figure and so you can tell this one is real.

Make a filter for whatever is in the subject header.

Re the noise, I only did that because I had a customer delivery to make the next day, for about 8 minutes at a time, twice. But normally, I would never make noise past 10pm. 11pm is more like, "I am trying my luck but I must do this". It'll be forgotten in another 2 weeks or so.

My band was banned from playing in a village though. Even though it was before 11pm.

In other words I stick to the law.
