It's not impolite to ask, but good luck ever getting people to pay attention to you.

At that point you just barge in. You've tried being polite, if that fails then strawberry float it.

I've done that hundreds of times having worked in a supermarket and honestly don't think anyone's ever failed to move aside for me.

Spot on, ask them to move, a simple "Excuse me" should do the trick, and if they dont move then reach for what you need, they may throw you a look but strawberry float em, shouldnt be standing in the way and ignore you when you asked them to move.

I just move people's trolleys, if they've put them in a stupid place, like diagonally across an aisle.

I prefer it when they catch me doing it: it's the only way they'll learn. People literally wander around with no concept or awareness of their surroundings.

The guy who's sat behind me thinking he's some master skiver :fp:

Sitting with headphones on and sitting about an inch from your screen doesn't hide the fact that we can see you're watching a comedy show and we can hear you giggling under your breath as THE ROOM IS SILENT :fp:

Twitter, and social media in general

It’s just so gooseberry fool. If you’re using it to keep in touch with people, fine, it’s useful for that. It’s all the other bullshit. The utter, utter drivel – strawberry float knows how many pictures, videos, and tweets or comments that mean sod all. Absolute waste of time.

What’s worse is that stuff on twitter counts as news now – what’s ‘trending’, whether someone’s got an opinion on something or not, and it’s even being used to release news to people and make announcements. So many strawberry floating apps and different methods of producing the same shite. Pointless ‘content’ that adds nothing to anyone’s life.

Whenever something happens - whether it's what you had for lunch or a celebrity dying - people seem to rush to twitter to tell everyone what they think about it, desperate for attention and believing other people give a gooseberry fool.

Ugh.

Don't be mean, it's not like Lotus uses an internet forum to post his thoughts on the death of a celeb.

People who don't think what they are doing when writing reviews.

On amazon yesterday looking for 24: Live another day to find its release date as I missed out (do t have sky).

There is this one review that says he's spoiler free but then he proceeds to put in a spoiler about

Someone dies near the end

So it's not really spoils free is it, so when I do buy it I'll be expecting it.

Thanks a lot pal :|

I searched for "the last of us" on YouTube to show someone some footage and auto suggest immediately appended a massive spoiler.

Too polite lol.

That's a mistake I made only once. Put in a main character from The Wire's name into the search and it appended "death scene" to it. Never again. :(

Anung googled some dude off holby city to see what else he was in. Read out his bio saying "played Hansen from (some date) to (some other date next week)"

Obviously he wasn't gunna be around long so his departure wasn't half as belting as it could have been.

Happened to me when I entered a certain Breaking Bad character's name into the YT search bar. :(

This is one of my local "competitors", I guess.

Web "design" that makes me feel physically sick, going so far as to offer web design services.

What does "design professional website from one of our templates" mean? That doesn't even make sense. It's a strawberry floating Wordpress template you've pre-purchased, and your own site is doing more damage to your business by simply existing.

People like this in wealthy areas is why competition is so fierce vs third world countries with low wages that are a million times better than these cretins charging £300 for a "designed template".

Please erase yourself from the Internet.

I was gonna offer these guys some outsourced stuff but even their window display is shockingly bad, hopefully replace them in x years.

That gooseberry fool was the name of my life when I did freelance web design. I'd charge based on my time and pour all my effort into coming up with a design from a blank page every time. The amount of people that would think my prices were too high were strawberry floating ridiculous as I'd be undercharging from the start to try and secure more money through repeat business.

"Oh but this site will give a free, logo I don't see why I need to pay on top"

"Because I'm properly designing you a logo from scratch, with lots of options and it'll be brilliant. Those will just be slightly adapted from a template and be similar to many others out there"

"I can't afford a logo though, can you do it for free? Also, this site will do a design for £100 AND I don't have to wait 3 days"

Etc etc etc. strawberry float off.
