Amazon prime delivery :x

I did all my Christmas shopping in the week, choosing specific delivery days, which as a prime customer you can do, to get around my working times.

I selected a set to go to the local amazon locker to be delivered yesterday. Nothing. No text or email communication. I checked my account to see delivery had failed because the lockers are full :| Well whats the strawberry floating point of being able to select them in the first place then? Apparently they'll try again monday. And what if it's full again then? strawberry float sake.

Another delivery was some books for my nan. No sign of them, no email or texts, so i checked my account this morning to find a note against the order saying they had been left behind the wheelie bin ON THURSDAY. It's been raining non stop since then. I rushed out and sure enough, the packaging had fallen apart and the books were sat in the rain totally ruined.

We pay for this service. what a strawberry floating shambles.

EDIT: I just refreshed my orders after a live chat with amazon, and the one item that was due to be delivered today has now moved to tomorrow. strawberry floating hell

I just got dinged with a parking charge because Tesco think I spent 9 hours in their car park a few weeks ago, when I went in first thing on the way to work to fill up the car but saw the queue was too long to hang around for and came back in the afternoon to pick up some bits and pieces. Damn strawberry floating right i'm constesting that gooseberry fool, and I guess i'll find somewhere else to shop now too.

Being mocked as a 'fair weather cyclist' by one of the laziest people in the office, and when it's absolutely shitting down.

There's a guy on some Office Crisps UK Forums out there somewhere, in their "Things That Make You Sad" thread, saying "every day I try to make my colleague laugh with some banter but I just can't seem to cheer him up :( ".

That mobile interface was strawberry floating awful. I hope that's not what the new forum is like because I probably won't use it :dread:

What was so bad about it? Seriously, I think it's far better.

I just hate it in general. I don't like app style web pages anyway and tend to default to the browser version when the choice is there.

Come on man, you're a design professional, you can do a better criticism than "I hate it in general".

I had trouble with the layout of the posts, the red background being so pervasive made it kind of hard to see what was going on and the text was really small on my iPhone, though I don’t know if it’s just a default setting.

I genuinely thought that the reason the forum went down was to switch across to that and was thinking that I’d have real trouble continuing to browse on my phone as regularly as I do(for instance - right now) if that was the new normal.

With that said, a large part of my issues probably stems from not knowing the format as well as I do this one, so I guess a lot of it comes down to personal preference.

I hated it, for a start, the basic layout is horrible and confusing, while every time i clicked on a thread, i had to scroll down through hundreds of posts just to get to something more recent.

GRcade isn't broken (well, apart from yesterday ;) ), and does not need 'fixing'

I prefer this layout too, it's cleaner, more spacious and the neutral grey is much nicer than a ton of strong colouring.

The Discourse site could be improved a lot if everything was just smaller.

I prefer the old layout to, but that may just be familiarity.

Is it possible for threads in discourse to be split into pages?
