I've heard rumours that Devlin is behind the creation of said system.

I will neither confirm nor deny this. :shifty:

The online system is a clusterfuck though. Luckily I'm not involved in personal tax at all, just Customs.

I'm the C in HMRC.

Cheers and Fraiser are absolutely top tier in the sitcom world.

I always found Everyone Loves Raymond pretty bad.

King of Queens has its moments, mainly when Jerry Stiller/Arthur Spooner is appearing.

I'll always remember one scene where he finds birth control pills in his daughter's bag and his reaction is "HE TOUCHES YOU?!?"

Such good delivery

But yes, it's not the strongest sitcom out there.

Yeah, King of Queens was alright to be fair, and the wife was pretty hot :datass:

And then Scientology got her....

She got out and made a couple of famous documentaries about it, quite the anti-cult poster girl now.

A bloke that's so ill hes been off all week has just turned up sounding like Darth Vader, coughing and spluttering because 'I thought it was important this meeting'. He then stood by my desk talking for about 10 minutes.

I look forward to catching that then.

The help tips are brilliant as well.

Q: Are you the sole director or something or other [can't remember the exact wording] of a company?

Hint: If you the sole director or something or other of a company, click Yes. Otherwise, click No.

YOU'VE JUST EXPLAINED THE CONCEPT OF A YES/NO QUESTION YOU strawberry floating strawberry floats

 Yes, it's exactly like that.

Often I've just answered based on what the most likely answer to the question is, or answered as many questions in such a away that it discounts other question from applying, assuming they're not going to give that many gooseberry fools for someone making what I do. I get away with it, and any mistakes I've made I've just amended the following year. The very definition of making it up as you go along. I had no idea about accounting or taxes or anything like that until I started just doing them. Which has been.. valuable, I guess?

You can always google it and find 1000 other people who don't know what xyz nebulous phrase in accounting speak means... and get 5 different answers most of which consist of "ask an accountant". How about no, just give me a strawberry floating answer and make this gooseberry fool public knowledge for everyone? Should be taught in schools, however boring it is. Maybe people will be less inclined to evade tax if they actually know how to complete their returns and see that they very often owe little or nothing if you do it right. I mean, 16-year-old entrepreneurs aren't exactly going to be doing gangbusters right out of school, but they should know what a tax code and national insurance is.

No, we don't talk about the people in the early 20s making millions of pounds and furnishing whole offices with their mates, buying yachts, and retiring the moment they burn through their venture capitalist investments and vanish from the face of the earth.

Been searching high & low for a Driveclub season pass due to the fanny belchers @ Sony taking it all down
due to “licensing issues”.

If that’s true then you better take down Assetto Corsa : ultimate edition, as that’s technically a 2013 game as is Need For Speed Rivals. Ultimate edition / third party or not. Take that gooseberry fool down you shower of mouldy shites.

So get to GameStop Italy (mama Mia!), ooooo see drive club season pass, buy it, get the code, type the code in.
Doesn’t strawberry floating work :x

The absolute bastards. That’s like £12 to £20 out of pocket. Still hot about it now. I hope they get athletes foot & their nobs drop off.

Bastards.

Edit: suck my balls sony, I’ve created an Italian account & now the season pass works. It better work on my main account :capnscotty:

Cool. Remember the servers get shut down pretty soon, so you'll need to work quickly. Also post in the driveclub thread.

Yes, it's an absolute crock of shite. It also doesn't calculate your tax correctly either. I enterred like 3 or 4 figures (3 incomes and expenses), and it said i owed £700 in tax, which i paid. I knew this wasnt right, as it's very simple to work out your tax, bit of basic maths. Anyway, i had to pay an accountant to contact them and ask them to reassess it. Turns out i owed nothing, so got it all back! So, make sure you manually calculate it.
