Or dealerships actually do the job properly, instead of using some tatty part they got from the breaker's yard and not bothering with why the injector failed in the first place.

We've got a great local garage, much cheaper and no 'tatty parts' yet, but unfortunately as the car broke when we are on holiday we're 250 miles away from it. This is my first dealership experience and they've been terrible.

People who yell loudly at the same time they're sneezing. :x

There's no strawberry floating need for it; it's very easy to stop yourself screaming while doing it.

I love to do that. But only in the privacy of my own home.

Car insurance providers. Specifically ones that provide a renewal price that is 2.5x higher than what you would pay by changing insurer. Parasitic banana splits hoping that people don't bother to check.

People with their head in their phone who bump into you then give you a glare like it's your fault they weren't looking where they were going.

Actually, it's a legal requirement now that if you've been with your insurer for more than a year(may be slightly more, like two or three years) they need to put a piece in your renewal documentation asking you to think about looking around. Car insurance premiums have shot up this year by a significant amount across the board, especially with some of the FCA's rulings regarding pricing and whatnot affecting things.

Sincerely
Not a parasitic banana split

Also, insurance companies change their pricing for risk profiles depending on lots and lots of factors, so you can not change anything about your personal situation but represent a more expensive risk to them at renewal.

Americans do that all the time, I don't know why, makes zero sense for the context.

Indeed, Tom. Claims prevalence in your postcode area is usually a big one, so there's every chance you're being charged for the claims of the people around you, or even people who have the same make and model of car getting into more accidents. Each insurer weights all of this stuff differently, but it is important.

Pricing from insurance companies is becoming more transparent now, partially as a result of FCA rulings and partially because the industry as a whole is getting tired of "BuT yOuRe A bUnCh Of ThIeViNg BaStArDs" stuff that is pushed by the likes of Martin Lewis and that ends up costing fuckloads of money every year that, if the general public were a bit more educated, just wouldn't be happening. Costs that, yep, affect premiums.

That will end soon, there is a new thingo from FCA preventing them from massivly dropping the 1st year price to get you on then it being massive next year.

Generally i think it will mean prices going up over all as right nwo 1st year prices are ridiclously low due to making a loss to get you in and year 2 year making up for a little.
