Try more Craft beer places, proper craft beer places will have a bunch of craft soft drinks as well as craft alcohol free beer which are massively on the rise recently (as long as you aren't vegan too, a lot of alcohol free craft beer has lactose in it)

This is another pet peeve though, the idea that if your not drinking alcohol what you must really want is an alcohol free version of beer as if there's no possible other types of drink you might be interested in

I gave it as an option, there are some epic ones that as a beer drinker I'll happily have ins pure of them being 0%

My point was, most pubs are gooseberry fool, but if you go to a craft place they will have a much much better selection of craft soft drink options AND 0% beers.

There are two in Chelt that I know of. The Ale House and The Brewhouse & Kitchen. I've tried the former and it's not very good for non-alcoholic drinks, the latter is predominantly geared towards students as are all the bars in The Brewery Quarter so not for me.

That's the downside of living in a student town; it's just one big piss up week on week.

Has anyone ever got through on the phone to a leisure centre or is it just the ones around me that seem to ignore it.

Been on for 30 minutes this morning trying to get through :fp:

Maybe withhold your number, see if they just know your number and don't like you

First time I've called them.

I hope I haven't been blacklisted by all leisure centres.

Well I got through but they couldn't refund the family swim session because I'd booked online and not in person? Great.

Companies that pull that gooseberry fool can strawberry float off in my opinion. If you can pay online via a card they can refund you online. There's no excuse.

Welll its a public leisure centre so I think it's some kind of system issue.

Still, hour well spent

Couldn't they have at least given you a digital voucher or something to use next time?

When you remember something so embarrassing, you do an actual audible cringe to try and distract your brain from it.

The gift card industry. Its essentially a con for businesses to get free money from un-used balances but annoyance today is with Spotify and their convulated rules for using their gift cards.

Someone has given us a £30 Spotify gift card. I've just tried to use it towards the Premium Duo account my missus and I have and it doesn't work.

Check the Ts and Cs:

Give the gift of Spotify Premium. You can buy Spotify gift cards from many leading electronic and retail stores.

Gift cards are valid for 12 months from date of purchase. Our gift cards can only be used to get Premium Individual plans.

You can’t use them for Premium Student, Premium Family, Premium Duo, or trial offers
.

This is just bollocks. Someone has paid £30 for a gift card which we can't just apply to our account and use how we want. strawberry floating bollocks :fp:
