It's familiar because it's so shite that i despised it from the first time i heard it.

I only heard Billie Eilish through Seth Everman when he did his version of bad guy, which he turned into " we are number 1" :lol:

I listened to a few Billie Eilish songs today between lectures. Safe to say I'm not a fan. I don't think I've ever had songs drain all the energy out of me before.

Billie Eilish is great. Can see her sticking around for the long-term.

I only know of that song via a BT broadband ad.

I generally ignore most current pop music/chart stuff as it doesn't appeal to me at all.

I don't know if it was only used in this, but for a while it felt like that was the go-to "earnest and heartfelt sci fi film/game trailer" music for at least a year.

I really wish people would stop recommending 'The Boys' to me just because "you like comics, you'll love it". I didn't like the comic, I'm not going to watch the TV series. And it's not enough to recommend it, a few weeks later they then have to ask if I've watched it despite saying I'm not going to and them getting low key offended that I haven't seen it.

I love fireworks, but the vast majority of ones sold for home use in supermarkets and pop-up retailers are more of an overpriced nuisance than they are in any way impressive. Go to a display, inhale the gunpowder, and then walk home pretending you're in Victorian London. Or if you'd prefer, World War 2. Or any war, tbh. Maybe pretend you're Jack the Ripper hunting his victims. Look, I don't care, just stop setting off shitty wet farts at half 2 in the afternoon like a mug.

Fireworks are becoming a more year round thing and a lot of folk seem to think they can do them anytime of the day or the night when they want without at least warning people.

I recently bought a well known brand of 'action camera'. It's great, takes superb video ( :datass:

), no complaints there.

The problem is the dogshit mobile phone app you're forced to use to do anything with the video. It worked ok a few weeks back, but now all my stuff is just trapped either ~~on their servers~~ in 'the cloud', or locked within the app if I download it. Any attempt to save it locally (so I can pass it on to someone) results in a failure. Can't do anything with it, tried every trouble shooting thing going.

Why the strawberry float is this locked behind a mobile phone app? There's no desktop version available. For strawberry float sake.
