Just fantastic. What an off-the-cuff response!

Oh man. I just posted the above in the "smile" thread and was feeling pretty cheery... but then I made the mistake of glancing at some of the responses on Twitter. Instantly reminded that there are plenty of sexist morons out there :x .

Yeah I was just going to reply in that thread about how the comments are awful! :dread:

She handled that brilliantly.

It's hilarious that the same people that think women can't be funny also think "what colour is your thong" is a great joke.

Yeah the actual video of her taking the idiot to task is gold, she deals with it exceptionally well.

But many of the comments on the tweet just reinforce the idea that there are a ludicrous number of morons out there!

She really took the idiot down with that response. Unfortunately, that idiot probably doesn't care. They'd probably already left as soon as she said the first bit to try it on elsewhere. However, stuff like this gets the word out on how people should be respectful to others when interacting with them.

Judging by the comments, though... People will never learn.

Crappy game shows (and crappy TV in general). Working from home I sometimes put the TV on at lunchtime or just as something to keep an eye on in the background, and it's like being exposed to a whole new world of mediocrity and trash. I used to think the TV on in the evenings and at weekends was bad enough, but strawberry floating hell. There seems to be an endless stream of really bad quiz shows and game shows. And Gordon Ramsay and Danny Dyer are both fronting awful-looking new game shows now, as if we need any more to add to the list. :fp:

You might as well bucket TV into a few categories:

- crap game shows and quiz shows fronted by the same handful of people, and shitty panel shows with the same 'celebrity' guests and comedians doing endless rounds on all of them
- property programmes
- cooking programmes
- reality TV / karaoke / 'talent' programmes
- everything else

95% of it is utter, utter gooseberry fool.

This is something that has been annoying me more and more as I've been following a few Reddit communities for TV shows: people who create posts gushing over how they've just discovered some hidden joke or secret meaning in a show when in reality it's something blindingly strawberry floating obvious that you'd have to be a moron to not get the first time watching.

Lastpass changing their free tier so it can only be used either on PC or mobile, rather than across both.

Now I'm going to have to migrate password manager. :x

I moved to Bit warden a while back, is free (although I pay because it's cheap), open source which is good and if you want you can host your own instance if you wanted.

I've had this ear problem since Friday last week, I can't hear very well in my left ear, my right is strawberry floated anyway. Work has to be the most frustrating experience ever.

People keep trying to have conversations with me or they keep trying to ask me things. Can't make 'em out, so I have to keep asking them to repeat things or when I get tired of doing that, I just pretend I've heard and give a random answer.

It is so strawberry floating annoying.

I've been using Bitwarden for the last few months and it's very good. It's owned by themselves so no big company behind it and totally open source.

Also have an importer and steps on their site for migrating your passwords in one go.

Its got one of those nets cable tied to it (because if you put one of those out, you'll never see it again). I just walked down the road to see if it had blown to the bottom, nope. Someone has actually taken it. I hope they cut their fingers while trying to peel our house numbers off it.

An update on this (because I know you're all desperate to have one):

Recycling day again, we had a broken bin in the garage that I have put in to action until we get a new one (Which ironically we got when someone stole our previous recycling bin and left the broken shitty one in its place). I went out first thing and walked the road (srs bsns) but couldn't see our one, then watched what the bin men actually do to see what had happend. Turns out they pick a bin up, walk down the road a bit to where the lorry has stopped, then rather than put it back where it came from, they then walk to the next house, chuck the empty one in front of that and pick a new one up. As our house is spaced far from the next one down, it would appear they've picked ours up, walked down the road and chucked it in front of the house just around the corner. That house had nothing in front of it today, they know I'm on to them.

When a tiny error is made at work and then the bosses make out it was of such huge importance and blah, blah, blah.

If it was really that important you'd have spoken to me about it and explained the situation in detail rather than send a forgettable one line email several weeks ago to a group email address.

strawberry float sake  :fp:

Earlier today I was making my lunch, which included scrambled eggs. Thankfully I had 3 eggs, and while I wanted 4 I could live with 3, and got a pyrex jug and poured a little milk in it. I then opened the top of the food waste bin, in preparation for the shell, cracked and then proceeded to empty the contents of the egg into the bin and place the shell in the jug.

I'm still annoyed about it now.

My mum once did something similar while making a cup of tea, she took a teabag out of the tin they're kept in, put it in the cup and then proceeded to pour boiling water into the full tin of teabags.

My sister then did the same a few weeks later, I swear its genetic.
