It's just a way of saying "I'm so weird because I do this thing, please give me attention".

..and similar variants. Which you can guarantee will be copy&pasted endless times whenever something happens a lot.

It's annoying when that happens organically too. I was in a Teams chat a few weeks ago and gave a colleague two options and he just said 'yes'. Apparently he meant 'yes' to the second thing I mentioned, and I was told I was in the wrong by someone else when I; got annoyed, pointed out this was "unclear" when he clarified himself. People are bastards.
