4 of us went out for a meal at lunch time, menu was small and expensive. I had pre decided to pay the bill, the other two offered to split the bill, I politely declined thinking it wouldn't be top bad considering it was only lunch.

£89 :dread:

Seems fairly reasonable, especially if that was including drinks?

For 4 people that’s not so bad. But I’m in the south east so am used to being strawberry floated over by prices.

Remember I live in Wales. A decent meal can be exchanged for a packet of stickers and a panda pop.

Should have gone to McD's, i have a bunch of WHSmith vouchers at the moment which gets me food for £1.99.

Oh wait, you're in Wales, there probably isn't one within a 100 mile radius.

Haha yeah round here that’s not much more than a meal at Harvester money.

Harvester near us got closed down recently, much to the delight of lots of people around who thought it was too cheap and trashy for them :fp:

Jokes on them though because a strawberry floating McDonald's is opening there instead!

The dream would have been to replace it with a Cheekylicious Nandolios but sadly we have been denied that possibility.

People running along the beachfront, ruining my peaceful dog walk, at 7am on a mummy strawberry floating Sunday.

Get a life.

Richard Madeley. He was covering on Radio 2 for someone the other day (yes I listen to Radio 2, I am cool  ) and just everything about him is intensely annoying. His dull voice, his odd vocal ticks and mannerisms, the way he drones on about gooseberry fool that nobody else cares about etc.

He had Shakespear's Sister on and for about the first 5 minutes of the "interview" it was just him going on and on with some convoluted description of something entirely irrelevant and the rest of the interview basically carried on in that style.

NOBODY WANT'S TO HEAR WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY RICHARD! SHUT THE strawberry float UP AND LET THE GUESTS TALK!

I don't know if it's old age or Judith not reigning him in, but he's really become Alan Partridge in recent years:

He’s what would happen if Coogan let Alan Partridge jump the shark.

Yeah it's hard to tell if he was always so Partridge-esque or if it's a recent development, but real life Partridge is not as fun as the fictional one!

Paid for an aisle seat to sit next my girlfriend on a flight. On my other side? An infant.

A few years back I got to travel business class for my first (and so far only) time for some work. It was a long flight, about 13 hours, so I thought I'd get to watch some movies, read a book, have some nice food, just generally chill out and enjoy the comfort. :toot:

Get on the plane and discover there are not one but two practically new born babies right by me! Who the strawberry float brings a baby into business class?! What strawberry floating business are they doing!!! :x

When i lived at the coast, people would take their dogs for walks on the seafront just so they could gooseberry fool on the beach.

Christ, I'd be livid. :dread:

Do newborns need tickets on planes? If so, who the strawberry float is buying them a business class one?!
