I will never, ever use NordVPN on principle, because I'm strawberry floating sick of Youtubers trying to sell it to me.

But you can't get much better than Caddicarus, Call Me Kevin, and The Unusual Suspect. And SomeCallMeJohnny.

I know that three have had NordVPN as a sponsor before [maybe all four have, but I can't fully remember]. But unfortunately, sometimes you just can't get away from it, as those 'tubers only ever featured it as a sponsor once. But never on the same day. So if you watch all four channels, that's four times it has appeared. If you watch a lot more - even if not regularly - there is a chance that they will have that sponsor. So you could end up seeing NordVPN appear as a sponsor each day of the week from a different channel.

And there is no way to escape it. They will wear you down eventually and you will sign up for it. Eventually.

Funny Irish guy who plays games - in particular The Sims - where he takes control of a Sim called Jim Pickens, who has no sense of morality.
Serious and comedic reviewer of films and games, who's is also a pretty great editor, having recreated with pinpoint precision almost every season of a Power Rangers opening titles to be for another TV series or film.
Serious reviewer of games with his Johnny Vs. series, looking at those that are old and new, and sometimes plays games live to give his thoughts on them.

I don't watch a lot of YouTube, but I do like Easy Allies, Octavius Kitten, AVGN (it's stupid exaggerated nonsense, but I find it fun, though I prefer James and Mike Mondays,) a few others. Tbh, most of the channels I follow are people from here and I think one of them may add stuff on occasion :lol:

Was watching LinusTechTips the other day and he must have shamelessly plugged more than five different things in a ten minute video.

These Nationwide adverts are getting even worse. Now they feature unfunny stand-up routines.

Overly efficient bar staff who keep trying to take your drinks away before you've even finished drinking them!

I've stopped watching him for that reason.

Youtube is plain strawberry floating annoying. ASMR videos, reaction videos, Tubers endlessly promoting gooseberry fool, adverts that pop up mid video, Godawful thumbnails.

It's a great resource that feels like it is spiralling out of control.

I agree with the rest of your bugbears though, all of them are bloody awful and i would never include such crap in my content.

Meanwhile, I can't even control when and where adverts appear within videos as if one appears it means the video has been claimed. Which happens on occasion.
