It's a local one. Second hand. Fairly sure they are not really telling me the full story about it.

I think it used to be worse. My brother got beaten to gooseberry fool and stamped on right by a tescos by a gang of about 12 townies because they said his hair was gay. I'm glad things are a bit better, but anyone with half a brain on them that doesn't give a gooseberry fool about the most modest accessories or styles being "only for" the opposite sex can still get gooseberry fool. I worked somewhere where they were calling me "bender" in their emails because my black laptop bag was apparently a ladies bag. Just one with normal handles similar to a tote of shopping bag but also a shoulder strap. strawberry float that gooseberry fool, there was nothing remotely gendered about it, literally just had strap handles. It's an accessory for strawberry floats sake.

Sounds like a pretty gay bag.

i honestly think mini cooper drivers are the worst now they literally have no awareness and cant drive properly, bmw drivers still awful though

Holding music that randomly cuts out, crackles, abruptly switches tune or otherwise makes it sound like someone has finally picked up!

I was on hold to plusnet for 20 minutes earlier and constantly the line was clicking and the music cutting out as if someone had answered only for the music to then come back again!

People constantly sniffing, almost every 10 seconds rather than blowing their nose.

People at work moaning about the cold. I acknowledge that outside it has been cold and not everyone likes that (it's my favourite time of year and I'm loving the cold but each to their own). But....the heating is on in the building, the heat curtain above the door is on full, the two wall heaters in the main entrance are on, the heater behind the main reception desk is on (full), the portable heaters are on. All that and they are still wrapped up like they're on an expedition to the Antarctic moaning about how cold it is and asking for the heating to be turned up. It's hot enough in the building for me to be in a tshirt and that members of the public are complaining about the hot, stifling atmosphere in the building.

GMAIL is down. DISASTER.

Merlin Annual Passes

Me, my brother and his wife have a family pass that we want to renew, but it expired a while back, plus they want to add their daughter onto the pass as she's nearly 3 so will no longer get free entry, so we wanted to call up and see if we could still renew the expired passes and simply add their daughter at renewal price, rather than paying the extra £30 per person for new passes. However Merlin have basically scoured all traces of their phone numbers from the internet. And when I finally managed to track a number down on an old Hot UK Deals listing you just get a message that the number is no longer in use and to visit the Merlin Annual Pass website instead, which doesn't have the answer to my query.
The best they now do is a "Contact Us" form which says they might phone you back at some undetermined point in the future, but probably when you're busy and not able to take the call.

Their website mentions that they have a Live Chat, but it's only available if you see a Live Chat bubble in the bottom right of the screen, and it's never there.


Unfortunately it seems to be an ever increasing trend for companies to make it as difficult as humanly possible for the customer to actually contact them, and any contact must be on the companies terms and not at the customers own convenience.

The person that day in day out ruins the same toilet cubicle. Today it looked like someone had gooseberry fool all over a handful of gravel and then thrown it all over the back of the toilet.
