And there's clips with fighters who can see their opponent is unconscious so they just stop. So it's clearly possible.

As someone with a severe physical disability who literally cannot drink (or eat soup) without a straw that bends, the paper ones are utterly useless.

Its become almost impossible to buy plastic ones so I've bought some reusable silicone ones as they're the safest option for hot drinks.

Sure but like, basically every single person in these clips was able to recognise the KO and stop, and some of them weren't even super obvious. Ironically like the only guy who still attacked was probably the most obvious knock out



The fighters that smash people's faces in when they're clearly knocked out are just dickheads

Unreliable taxi companies.

Used to be great around here, both reliable and cheap. This weekend we had a taxi prebooked for weeeks to take us to town so we could go out to some nice bars and then for a curry.

Taxi didn't turn up. Taxi company not answering their phones. Try every other taxi company which have all been bought out by dragon taxis and not one of them responded, so we had to cancel all our plans. strawberry floating piss take.

Yup. For years I'd resisted using Uber, cause of them being nasty banana splits, but now every local taxi company just either doesn't answer their phone or doesn't show up. I was in my mates flat, on the other side of the city, the other week. Called my local taxi company (who I've used for over a decade) and they said it would be 45 minutes - which was reasonable considering it was a bit of a trek - so I sat by the window and watched the road. 30 minutes pass and the guy phones to say he's 15 minutes away. An hour later, the driver still hasn't arrived and after phoning both the driver and the taxi company 3 or 4 times each, I install Uber and get a taxi in 3 minutes. Absolute strawberry floating joke.

It's the lying about times that is the worst part. "He's just at the end of your road" being told to you over and over for nearly 40 minutes, rather than just admit they either dont have a taxi available and are stalling, or their driver picked an u planned fare up at the last drop off and is currently strawberry floating about with them somewhere.

I think I'll try uber next then, although I don't even know if they operate in our area.

DHL have gone strawberry floating insane, I'm not paying £70 to get 3 small items delivered. Now I'm probably going to have to wait months for a surface parcel but at least it doesn't cost nearly as much as the 3 items together.

Yep, Saqramart used to do this amazing offer of free international shipping on orders over $50 and free DHL o equivalent over $100 and that's gone, mandarake only did DHL last time I checked which is also ridiculous, same with HLJ, plazajapan etc.

Yeah with EMS being suspended for so long the only option really is DHL

The shitty GP surgery appointment booking system.

Tried to get a doc appointment for mum this morning, phone lines opened at 8.30am, i rang at 8.30am only to be greeting with 'the line is busy, please try again'

Kept on redialling for 30 mins, but in the end, i was told to give up, never even got as far as the switchboard and 20 min+ holding queue that i usually end up having to deal with.

You can't make appointments in advance either, and they closed their online booking system (seemingly permanently) when covid hit in 2020.

Absolute dogshit service as always.

A lot of people are now saying you're better off physically walking in at 8:30 and arranging an appointment face to face. It's a bit of hassle but the receptionist has to stop answering the phone to others wanting appointments, so it's proving to be a success in some areas.
