Cinema goers who decide to sit either directly in front or behind you, despite the fact that it's completely empty! You can sit literally anywhere you want, there's nobody else here! Why would you choose to sit as close to the only other group as possible?! Do you just enjoy bothering people with your noise?? strawberry float off and sit an extra row over so I can't hear your stupid strawberry floating commentary!

Cute? They’re banana splits.

Yep! They are banana splits. I saw a large gull kill a pigeon and tear it apart last Thursday. It was horrifying. :dread:

Fits in with the cat comparison I guess.

A cat has never gooseberry fool on my car.

My next door neighbours cat shat on my old car. Right on the bonnet

If you are in the middle where I like to sit then I will sit in the row below or above you as I like being in the middle not the back or front on the cinema. Maybe that's why? Unless you sit somewhere else?

He's in his car before even going in.

People on their mobile phones that don’t look where they’re going is a real bugbear of mine at the moment. Yesterday I was coming out of a shop and some dozy bint so engrossed on her mobile ploughed right into me. If I was a child or an older person I’d have been wiped out. “Sorry”, and off she waddled in her stained grey sweatpants, a tattoo making itself visible on the back of her neck. I then glanced over at a fishing shop and wondered if they sold harpoons...

About 10 minutes up the road at some traffic lights, another woman looking down at her phone just crosses the street and nearly gets hit by a car, the driver slamming on their breaks and beeping the horn.

Maybe we were wrong about muggers on scooters, they’re doing a public service taking phones from the truly moronic who just cannot leave them alone for 5 minutes. Completely oblivious to the entire world around them. This is severe addiction.

Was just watching an interesting Horizon documentary about the space shuttle on BBC4 and it suddenly cut to the tennis (women's doubles, being played in a near-empty stadium, clearly everyone's favourite) without any acknowledgement, apology or explanation. Well strawberry float you very much, last time I watch that channel.

Yeah the tennis was also cut off BBC2 with no continuity announcement and went into Top Gear.

To randomly cut off Horizon mid programme is even worse though. I know the tennis dramatically overrun but an indefensible strawberry floating shambles nonetheless.

Have you seen the doritos advert where the guy sucks the flavour dust off his colleague's fingers yet?

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

:dread:

Thankfully I very rarely watch live tv, so anything with adverts gets fast forwarded through anyway, helping me not to see such disgustingness.

strawberry floating LORRY DRIVERS! :x :x

Image

This is basically my life - sat watching a string of cars try to find some way of allowing a big ass lorry or van to navigate along a single track road that is clearly not designed for them to drive along!

In that pic we have all just reversed about a mile so we can backup down the entrance to a farm to allow the lorry through. The bellsprout on the left managed to reverse the wrong way and so ended up having to drive back toward the lorry and then sit facing us whilst it squeezed behind him. :fp:

This morning's lorry even forced two horses to turn around and find another way through!

It’s because of all those Amazon deliveries. You should probably stop using them.

The state of that road :dread: You *choose* to use that route? Those kinds of single-file tracks are the absolute worst thing about the countryside.

EDIT: Maybe second-worst thing only to drivers who think that because a road like that is derestricted that they must do 60 down it and no less despite the incredibly restricted view :dread:

Hah, that shot is actually from the entrance to a farm which is considerably wider - all the cars had reveresed along the road and back down here to finally let the lorry (or two lorries as it actually transpired :fp: ) come past.

The vast majority of the road is barely more than a cars width in total. The hedgerows on either side are massively overgrown at the moment which makes it even worse.

I don't use that road all the time, today there was an issue with the way I was originally going that was causing delays so this was my fallback plan (that wen't well!). Normally it can save a good amount of time in joining the motorway and very rarely do you meet something coming the other way.

Bmw/audi and white van drivers who presumably have a bomb in their car that will go off if they drop below 90mph. Normally i get over for them in my small car if they're on a mission because i can't be arsed having them filling my mirrors, but if they start flashing headlights i sit out there for a little bit longer than necessary.

The funniest part is when after all that they blaze past...and are now right behind the slow thing in front of me. That extra 10 feet was totally worth it

Yet to experience a BMW driver that wasn't a massive banana split.
