I had this nurse once when I last had a bout of cellulitis in 2015. He kept telling me that I was getting discharged that day. Considering I was on an IV drip, could hardly walk and had to have bloods done every 4 hours (to check i wasnt developing sepsis again and infection levels) it was totally implausable that I'd be going home that day. He was rude as anything and kept telling me to get my stuff together to go. Needless to say they just moved me to a different ward, but i wasn't discharged for 4 more days. I still remember him now saying "you're going home. Grab your stuff and get out of here.

It sounds like you had a rough time with that hospital. I know nursing is a stressful job at the best of times, but there was no need to be that rude to you, especially under the circumstances. When they've got no bedside manner it just makes everything 100x more stressful for everyone. I hope you're doing okay Qikz, we're all here for you dude.

I can't walk into a shop these days without women of a certain age (40+...maybe...ish) talking to me. And by talking to me I mean 'Excuse me, could you reach up there and grab me a pack of those [insert product here].' I'll then be greeted by a smile, a thank you, and either a mini lecture about how retailers put things too high up these days or who they're buying the product for.

Oh but it gets better, Batman sausages. What’s it supposed to represent, his pale knob? Or if that one doesn’t float your boat, Wonder Woman cheese and tomato ketchup sausages. Presumably that one is for telling the kids about what happens when you’ve had sex with Mum on her period.

I thought we’d hit rock bottom with the frozen jacket potato but now they’ve added a frozen cheese and ham toastie. “On a scale of 1 to 10 how crispy is it?” I’ll tell you how crispy it is: MINUS 5 STARS. “That isn’t an option on the multiple choice,”; “I don’t give a strawberry float Clive, write it down.”

Ooooot cuisine. I don’t want to be all Jamie Oliver but come on, the population has to be better than this.

Most ready meals are utter dogshit, even stuff like the Tesco Finest and M&S gastro ranges are very disappointing in a lot of cases so Christ knows how bad the cheapest ones are.

Idiots!!

Obviously the tanks would have never been able to fit onto the trains and even if they did how would they have got out of St Pancras station?

In a restaurant in Edinburgh and ordered a Sprite for my drink costing £2, figured it would be a large glass.

It's a strawberry floating can. Literally just a regular can of sprite brought to my table. For £2.

You really don't want to know. I picked up a £1.75 chicken curry from a corner shop after an evening at the pub and a band session and I was projectile vomiting and shaking for the next 12 hours. That was probably the only time I was seriously ill in the entire year other than when I fractured my vertebrae. I basically had to call in my girlfriend as an ambulance and threw up on the way back as well, it was strawberry floating terrible.

I'm trying to find the shop at the moment but all I can remember is it was gloss pink for some reason, had cables and poorly attached lights hanging from it, so I can't find it to leave a bum review (I think their gooseberry fool was thawed out in the freezers).

Or it was one of those phantom places you should obviously avoid that mysteriously disappears the next day, like Kilton.
