It was a great tool for site usability. Now there is effectively no way of flagging stuff for other discerning visitors to the site.

Unfortunately, it was a function which was often abused, sometimes you even get spam bots going through all new vids and disliking each and every one within seconds of them being uploaded.

The correct response was to put in measures that prevented bots being able to access the site.

Bear in mind it's YouTube with all its money we're talking about.

Firework banana splits.

It's more than a fortnight since bonfire night, pack it in, or go sit on the next one.

Same here. I probably should make the effort to "smash that like button", but I'm never signed into an account to do so.

How long it takes to get through to any kind of customer services now.
Every company tries to blame Covid in a "Covid means we're getting way more calls" way, when the reality of it is "We sacked a bunch of staff at the start of Covid and then never replaced them"

Took over an hour on hold to get through to Virgin Atlantic customer services the other day when they started messing around with my girlfriends flights.

When that happens to me, I often imagine a huge office full of ringing phones and there is not one person in the entire place to answer them.

In my opinion, there should be legal requirements for levels of customer service required from businesses over a certain size.

There should be a legal requirement for amount of staff for number of customers honestly. Working in IT Support where for a very long time we were understaffed sucks, the job is hard enough as it is without being overworked.

Psychopaths who sit down on the train without taking their backpack off.

Absolutely ridiculous.

Still better than the strawberry floaters who put their bag on a seat on a busy train and look at you angrily when you have the audacity to ask if the seat can be used for a person rather than an object.

Or people who sit in the Isle seat with the window seat available expecting no one to notice.

When you're queuing for the self-service checkout and some moron at the front of the queue can't see that there are four available checkouts not 7 feet in front of them. Are they literally brain dead? Their entire purpose at that precise moment is to pay for the items they are purchasing. They are waiting to do exactly that. Why does it take the attendant calling them forward for them to move?

Maybe they're just assuming they're all broken.

One of the problems here, is that some of the machines are often card payment only, and I find that I have to wait until one that takes cash becomes available.

All the machines should accept both cash and cards, it would make things far more efficient.

Or they could all accept card only and then have one machine in the corner for the people still living in the 19th century

Accepting cash for people who don't use cash takes strawberry floating ages to put into the machine though.

For people on trains like that when I was commuting for hours, I just made a point of sitting on the empty seat / seat with a bag on it when the train was literally full otherwise. Super annoying passive aggressively "reserving" your personal space (which you don't have a ticket for or a right to) in the full knowledge it's a busy commuter train, requiring other people to ask you to kindly move your massive legs/bag you strawberry floating daft banana split. As somebody who naturally avoids such personal interactions because of my brain making that painful then you can put up with having one strawberry floating seat on this one mummy strawberry floating train.

Not everyone wants to use a credit/debit card just to buy a packet of biscuits.

But then those of us who are to use this lone machine, hold up the queue as we wait for it to become available, thus causing the exact problem which was being moaned about earlier.
